To be fair, I don't know why anyone would buy the XFL. It has a stigma of failure associated with it. If he is going to restart the league, are the TV contracts & other stuff are already in place to make that easier? Either way, it will need to be rebranded

He has a production company, which has been involved in projects grossing into the billions now - that would probably help with TV. I feel like he has a prime time show on one channel right now too.

I think there's a lot to be said for an open minded approach to trying something like this. Rock definitely strikes me as someone who is more capable of putting something together that speaks to a younger audience than 50+ If shyt's gonna stand half a chance, they need to appeal to an audience who will still be alive and spending money 10/15/20 years from now.

Maybe the XFL owns some tech or other intellectual properties that they can license off/sell to the NFL or other companies.
