I only answered what I was asked. He asked me who was more popular in Europe, its Tyson. I can also answer to who was more popular in Africa, and it was Tyson. I don't know about Asia but it was probably Tyson. Basketball really only got popular in Asia very recently. That's probably 3 of the major continents.

Now MJ was popular as fukk but he wasn't Tyson outside of the States. It makes sense considering Boxing was a bigger sport

Basketball is the second most popular sport out there because of Mike. Boxing was, just as much back then. TS is right. Jordan is more famous now but Kobe is just as global and so is the sport. Tyson WAS boxing from 1984-1991. Jordan was getting whipped by Joey Dumars and Larry Bird/Kevin McHale. Be serious, there was a planet before Sega Genesis came out.
