I only lived in europe a few years, but my parents lived in London during the 80's and early 90s. Mike Tyson was at least 2 tiers(if not more) more popular then Michael Jordan during those years. Michael Jordan was known, but he wasn't cared about nearly to the extent that Tyson was.

oh, sorry my bad. i have my first memories in 90-91.. They were playin NBA on tv from then now on. I knew Tyson Before 96 as a name, but the people here learned him from the shyt with Holyfield ear etc..
