And actually there are varied expierinces ranging from casual to hardcore gaming on Xbox. Some kinect titles were rated pretty good and offered expierinces beyond "doing the Harlem shake" you may not like them but the dance games are a lot of fun to a lot of people, and it's an experience you can't have anywhere else. I use the workout game almost everyday. And fable journey, while somewhat flawed, offered some fun and a glimpse at kinect gaming for hardcore gamers.

These specs that they are putting on these tablets and phones are no joke. My phone has more ram than my PS3 and Xbox 360, think about it. Plays netflix, hulu, banking, streaming, etc. These things and more are what people are, at the bare minimum, expecting going forward. Quality gaming is a part of the package, but this business has changed now. People need to understand this point. The days of Gamefan, Next Generation and Nintendo Power being the only ones covering and paying attention to consoles are long over.
