I'm at disbelief at Xbots still trying to spin this

What is there to spin? Three 1 to 2 year old titles that are on gamepass to play now PlayStation and Nintendo (or 1 of the 2) will be able to play this year? Or is it us trying to spind the 7 year old multiplayer game coming to other platforms?

That's all pluses no negatives for anyone in Xbox ecosystem.

You can say whatever you want about Xbox but since their inception they've been the most forward thinking company in this space. They haven't mastered making the actual games but when it comes to hardware and ecosystem decisions they're almost always the leader in what other companies end up doing. They were putting their first party games on PC (day and date even) before it was ever a realistic thought in Sony's mind.

What they're doing here is just more forward thinking. Maybe it doesn't work but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be attempted. They're already a major publisher on other platforms so I see nothing wrong with this.
Like what? Only thing that really they pioneered was online console gaming.

I fail to see what they're doing that others are copying right now with great success.

The very same thing you credit them doing others aren't doing(Putting their games on PC day 1 and now even directly on the rival console.) are obviously not sustainable for Sony.

These Xbox fans would tell you that it's all in the plan if Microsoft killed the Xbox console and announced a port of Halo to Switch 2 and PS5 tomorrow.

Remember this

The issue with this point here is that those games released on PC are OLD ports of PS4 games. God of War came out in 2018 on PS4. It coming out in 2022 for PC won't affect PS5 sales because the majority of users who wanted to play it bought a PS4 when it came out and even a PS5 if someone waited for a patch. Same thing with Uncharted 4. A game that launched in 2016 is finally launching in June of 2022. Same with Horizon, a Feb.2017 title. Even the FFVII Remake argument is moot because FFVII Remake Intergrade is ONLY on PS5, the PC version is the original version of FFVII Remake which doesn't have the new features and Tifa DLC.

I think what Sony is doing is gauging how much they can squeeze out of console sales before porting over to PC. Once they feel the legs are starting to shorten on the console, then they announce a PC port.
