Nope. Digital has both short and long term benefits.
Discs in 2018 are all the negatives, with the only benefit being used game sales.

honestly, with how net neutrality is and how cable companies is fukking over peoples internet connections.
I doubt Disc-less is gonna really take off soon. mainly cus America still got shytty internet speeds compared to most european countries

If the games are cheaper i'm with it but besides that i'm not paying a full $60 for a game I can't even trade
Because companies have shown a tendency to shutter things that are no longer profitable to them placing the burden on the end user to maintain a physical item with their digital game on it long term defeating the battle cry of the all digital crowd that it's more convenient.
I still have physical games I bought over 20 years ago. They still work. Do you honestly think in 20 years you'll still be able to connect a PS3 online and re-download games?
In the short term you can do that but how long out will Sony maintain access to that stuff when it no longer makes them any money?

Sony has already went on record and said PS5 will be disc based. Gamers need to stop expecting the market leader to follow, copy, and do the same things the 3rd place looser does. Makes no senseNext gen will be disc-less confirmed.
