Disc format being dead is a big generalization. That’s the whole reason I avoided a Series S, I have a good collection of Xbox One games that I share and disc games get discounted a lot quicker opposed to digital.
I have OG Xbox and 360 games on disc. I have the Metal Gear Solid HD collection on disc that ain’t even available digitally anymore cause of copyright issues. These nikkas love not owning shyt. I was playing Timesplitters 2 on disc the other day thru backwards compatibility mode.

I'm not saying they never listen to the public. I'm saying that the public asking MS to put out better games, is not solved by them buying companies that put out multiplat games. If they wanted to appease people, they'd have put their money behind building a better console. Making better games. Buying Sony's exclusive gaming companies and getting the games they don't already have.

Instead, they are just buying up all the companies, putting out the exact same games they'd have if they didn't buy the company (multiplat) and telling you "Now we got games."

Were you, as an Xbox owner, going to get COD on your console for the next 10 years? Yes.. Are you going to get it now? Yes... Did you get anymore games you didn't have?

Finally someone said it. shyt crazy.

like i said there are some places where you dont have internet or its limited...:manny: people still wanna play video games tho... you shouldnt have to DEPEND ON THE INTERNET TO PLAY fukkING VIDEO GAMES what part of that do you not understand by now!!!!:what:
Every single game releasing these days at least has an internet component.

90% of them need the internet to function.

Nobody gaming without the internet but your old ass uncle that’s still playing fight night on his PS3 on a old ass tube tv :mjlol:

Edit: like @spliz :mjlol:

Exactly what I mean. You'll never convince PS loyalists to buy an Xbox even if you put out hit after hit after hit. The next Perfect Dark, Fable, Halo, Gears, etc could all be the greatest games of all time and that'll never convince a PS lifer to get an Xbox.

You start putting shyt like CoD, Elder Scrolls, 2k, Madden, etc on one console and watch how fast they buy Xbox. Hell, Street Fighter has never been exclusive to one console until last gen. They put SF on playstation only and now all of the fans fighting game genre play PlayStation. No one talks about that though.
Most Sony user had a 360 so I don’t believe that at all. Most Xbox users were Sony users. That’s a fact. These are all the same people. Even the fanboys. I promise you they had the other system too.

something made people stop buying an Xbox after 360 and it wasn’t cause hype and media. People aren’t stupid. If you put out a product that people want, no fanboyism is going to stop them. Word to Nintendo

Those old ass games where out when there was no option for digital.

Obviously you’d have them on disc :dahell:

Imagine had you purchased them digitally, you’d still have all the same shyt but wouldn’t have to store and maintain discs for 20 years.

People need to remember games can get delisted. You can’t buy older Forza games because of licensing. I wish I didn’t sell my copy of Max Payne 3 now that it’s available on BC.

And some people like to collect games, it’s no different from someone owning a blu ray collection even if they have a digital copy.

If a game is delisted you can’t buy a copy in the store either.

If you owned max payne digitally you’d still be able to play it today.

Those people gon have to accept a “digital collection” :manny:

No. The issue is with the way shyt is going. They can add and remove shyt from stores and ain’t shyt u can do about it. There’s a REASON they made the Series X disc based. I love owning what I purchase. I don’t know about u. I have been gaming digitally since Steam since I game on PC. I been streaming since the fukking Zune. But I will list the pitfalls of streaming in a heartbeat. While muthafukkas who got up in shyt AFTER me will argue me down like IM the one that’s out of touch. Hilarious shyt.

People had 360s because it both came out a year earlier and was cheaper. That's the only real generation Microsoft made noise. Outside of Forza, Gears, and Halo can you point to all these high quality exclusive games the 360 had? The 360's success had more to do with Sony's mistakes than anything. Those 360 gamers are gone and they aren't looking to come back. Most people don't want to own 2-3 home consoles.
