It is trash.

But, the debates that are had in here tend to take the position that "we are debating as shareholders not consumer".

So, if your stannery is coming from that perspective ; this is a W no matter how you slice it.

Which hat are you going to wear in this thread?

As a simple minded Stan?
Or the sophisticated Stan?

Yall bout ot make me go super sayain stan

Sony didn't spend BILLIONS buying companies that primarily made games for all consoles. That's a huge difference. The people they acquired were already primary PS game developers anyway.
It doesn't matter

Meanwhile Sony along with 2 other companies owns the majority of the music industry. But the government is going to step in for some video games? Disney/Fox, NBC/Comcast. Multimedia consolidation isn't unprecedented.

Dude earlier tried to say Call of Duties (recent CoD's are 10-15 million sold) has sold more than Overwatch (50 million sold) because no one on his friend list plays Overwatch.. like thats some kind of way to judge stats and sales :dwillhuh:

its.. just... amazing.. its like talking to 5 year old kids about how life works :dwillhuh: but these are grown ass men this fukking stupid on certain subjects :mindblown:

You're absolutely right about Overwatch, but the logic on thinking it's not bigger than CoD is something I can at least piece together. It's entirely due to how the gaming news cycles treat each game. Most of the news about Overwatch feels like it's negative most of the time, highlighting the confusion over OW2, how people don't like changes, OWL fukkery, or the occasional mention of player base. Negative news about CoD comes and goes quickly, and the annual release cycle lends to people forgetting about negativity surrounding it quick.

I mean.... Government gone do what the government gone want to do.. They blocked AT&T from buying T-Mobile after they agreed to sell. Saying it would be a monopoly. But then let T-Mobile buy Metro PCS and then Sprint :dwillhuh: which is even more of a monopoly :dwillhuh:

The decider was the difference in subscriber volume after purchase. If AT&T bought T Mobile, they would have been by far the largest provider in the country. Even after buying Metro PCS and Sprint, T Mobile was still in third. I think they JUST took second (according to them), and that's after a few years of handing out phones like candy, and basically bribing people to switch by buying them out of their situations with other carriers. :dead:
