@ the bolded if poor black voices don't represent you than why are you in here talking about them? Middle/upper class blacks are doing just fine.

And excellence isn't about money or degrees, it is about being strong and powerful people.

Being strong and powerful people dont mean anything if you are just saying it and making any changes...anyone can say I want to be successful or want to have this or that business but how many actually take that plan of action to achieve it. People learn through actions, not words. Turning your nose up at people won't make them change. you want me to be a freedom fighter? oh are you?? I thought out the box and got mine and others can do the same...instead of putting blame on others, thats why people like Michael Baisden who stands for the cause someone I dont with what he does, its just like sharpton and jackson...yeah its cool to take a stance for the people, and when some injustices go down represent the community, but they are opportunists as well, dont think they are struggling they are just getting it a different way. I never heard them one time take a stand, and tell our community "come on now, at some point we have to stop pointing fingers because the public is getting tired of it" So when the real ones do such as ms. obama, I will take the stand for that, because it is real, mostly important factual information that we need to hear....yeah some dont like to hear thats why they say you are "turning noses up at your people" or not standing up for your own...yeah i am standing up for mine thats why I am not in the hood and I will stay

I think the bad behavior is leaders fighting for equality and dying penniless. It leads people to believe that they CAN'T achieve success or wealth because inequality is just that strong, when I and other people just don't feel that is true. Malcolm X's grandson that just passed needed funeral donations and that was sad to me considering the impact his family had on black civil rights.

Those blacks that are wealthy or with ANY type of financial success are immediately dubbed Uncle Toms. The Obama's, Oprah, Bill Cosby, etc. The list goes on and on. Why do you have to be poor to be an example? Why is it that when you've used resources available to you, you're somehow a sell out. The mindset is ridiculous but yet WE'RE the slaves, sellouts, c00ns or trolls? Crazy!

lol tired of the same story I always hear for years, you are doing more harm by preaching it to your community, all that does is create more bitterness and anger towards thinking outside the box and the trickle down effect will go on to them and having them say the same bs just like how it was trickled down to you...You are ignorance dude this has nothing of finding little success, or "selling out", or getting "rich and switch" like I been hearing year after year after year from the black community.
