The fight will never end because ignorance will always exist. I try to look at what we can do to make our community better. How can we improve ourselves without waiting for the other side to do something to better our situation? There are a lot of positive and successful stories that come from poor/bad situations because there are individuals who decide to better themselves. It can be done breh, we just gotta push the individuals who think they have no hope.

DING DING DING!

We have a winner!

The MOST you can get white people to do is to tolerate you. They ain't got to like you. They ain't got to be nice to you.

They don't owe you shyt after that.

The most you can do is make them respect you. And you all don't seem to understand this.

Dudes are looking to be loved instead of earning the innate respect they see others getting seemingly for free.

There is ONLY so much you can "fight" for at this point.

We've overcome the major hurdles.

Now the work starts at home.

One more time. WE CAN AND SHOULD DO BOTH.

Fighting for equality and speaking out against racism isn't "waiting" for anything. It's taking the fight to them and holding them accountable for their actions.

Do you think doctor king was "waiting for the other side....."?

Yeah but the thing is WE AREN'T DOING BOTH!

Yes, compared to the 60's we are better off but can you honestly say that with everything we have available to us we should be better off?

WTF :mindblown:

I list groups that are fighting for their own issues. Doesn't matter if it about being tax to much, corporate greed, or economic inequality. Where in the fukk did I say the Tea Party was fighting for racial discrimination? Complaining is complaining no matter the damn issue they're fighting for.

I'm done with this thread. I swear some the guys in here are undercover st0rmfr0nt trolls.

nikka.

The Tea Party got organized and forced Congress to grind to a halt.

THATS POWER son. :patrice:

You ain't got to like it, but you WILL respect that shyt.

Black people ain't organized or even promoting images of what they want to see...but yet you out here fighting ghosts.

I ain't say there wasn't some progress to be made. I'll never say that.

BUT...the war starts at home.

How long does it take a people to go from slave to dominance?

How long does it take to make up for a 400 year deficit?

here we go again, how much time did i hear this slave deficit...cry me a river with this for real....what does this mean, we are doing our better to better ourselves really? Oh and the little innocent girl that was shot on the NY bus, she has to do with that right, or the fact that we have kids saying **** education and my free ride i am going to be a rapper, yeah that has to do with it right..yeah slave to dominance right, to be a domant team you have to work together, a team is a group that works together to achieve a "GOAL", this doesnt seam like that, more like enemies and people that are blind to the fact, and yeah like i said making excuses, on things that happened in the past that cannot be changed...like someone said before I am done...I will keep my mindset and do what I do, you keep yourself with this what happened to my fathers fathers fathers fathers, I look foward at opportunity.

Different times man. Back then, there was little to no opportunity for black folks. Times have change. There is opportunity for you and I now that we didn't have back then. And while I agree with you on fighting both ends of the fight, it seems to me that everytime a high profile African American has openly criticize the black community for not doing enough on their own to better themselves, he/she get criticized :manny: even when there is a lot of truth to what they say.

You're not thinking outside the box. Nothing you've said in this thread is new or innovative. Your just repeating the same arguments that have been used against your people for years. Why can't you see that?

This is a good example of these nikkaz Willie Lynch brainwashed minds.

I take no offense when a black leader stands up and challenges us to do better. People in this thread have taken that concept too far by calling people "lazy" and "complainers"

I disagree with Mrs. Obama's statements because I disagree with the notion that little kids having immature dreams is a problem that needs to be addressed. We all dreamt of some unrealistic off the wall stuff. The dreams aren't the problem it's the opportunities that are presented to the kids that are the problem.

Excuses.

Thats why you're 5% of engineers and the numbers of STEM degrees awarded to blacks has dropped.

But no matter.

lets have our youth look up to and aspire to be some bullshyt.

You claim to care, but you really don't.

Then you want to talk about "power" and "progress" :beli:

I find it funny when nikkas stay taking African American studies classes.

THAT shyt AINT FOR YOU DUMMY. :snoop:

nikkas also forget Michelle was the prime breadwinner before Barack wrote those books :mjpls:
