Can u read breh????

And let's not act as if Kareem was known as a great defensive player my nikka. He was no slouch but he was no Russell, Hakeem, or even Wilt defensively.

Mike was the GOAT perimeter player rim protector, Wade is a VERY close 2nd. U gotta put things into context to understand my point, so u gotta weigh positional and physical advantages and put all those against the main strengths.

MJ may be the only player in NBA history with absolutely no weaknesses. Any GOAT level bug automatically has a weakness on the perimeter, and that will always be seen as weakness in this type of debate.

Mike can play down low, Kareem can't play on the perimeter fam.

Eh, I think you're downplaying Kareem's game.

You're arguing that someone like Brooke Lopez is better than Shaq because he can score from a variety of positions and has little to weakness in his offensive game without adjusting for how dominant Shaq was at the one thing he did.

Kareem in the post is probably the most single most unstoppable player in the game next to Prime Shaq. Kareem's sheer offensive impact is comparable to Jordan's even without a "perimeter game" because his inside game is transcendent.

You right, Coach Ronaldo played much better in the Euro final:pachaha:

He came in second in goals and assists for the tournament and was the only player to finish in the Top 5 in multiple categories also.....

An argument can be made for Wilt.

Your observation is wrong fam lol. Brook Lopez can't score on the perimeter on a level where this convo is even close to relevant :mjlol:, on a scale of 1-10 Lopez as a perimeter player is a 3 at most. Just Centers alone then maybe a 4 at most. Your dominance at a certain thing obviously trumps your ability to do other things, but MJ was dominant FROM EVERY SINGLE PLACE ON THE COURT.

How is thus so hard to comprehend :mindblown:.

It's not a knock against bits, just the reality of the debate.

In my whole 25 years of being old enough to understand the game, I look at a nikka like KAT and say that he has a chance to be one of the most dominant ever cause that nikka plays from every single spot on the court and is very good to great at all of that shyt. One of the only bits I have ever seen go coast to coast with the rock the whole time, and pull off dribble move D Wade like step backs from 20 feet on some perimeter player type of shyt. We already know dude is a beast from the post, being able to do guard like things is impressive as fukk.

It's not that hard to understand fam.

:martin: no integration then it dont count.

If you're going to discredit Babe's career because of segregation, then you have to do the same to the careers of Pop Lloyd, Oscar Charleston and Josh Gibson.

I'd rather not do that.

Emmett and Barry imo, but I can understand if u disagree with it. Emmett had the numbers and championships, Barry had the numbers and some of theost amazing highlights in sports history.

U can't DOMINATE football from any position though so no NFL player would count in this debate though fam. It's literally impossible to effect the game like MJ as a football player :yeshrug:

Breh, you do know that Jim Brown also is still regarded as the GOAT Lacrosse player?

Michael Jordan isn't even the greatest basketball player, nor black athlete.

Bron is going to Serena Williams the league he may end up with 7-9 rings when it's all over, then this will be a mute discussion...already his defeated competition has already surpassed that of what his peers dealt with, Jordan included(magics lakers were the toughest he had to deal with in a finals). Jordan never dealt with a prime a San Antonio or a record breaking Golden State with video game shooters. And MJ is my STANDARD BEARER flat out... but bron is standing next to him at this point. I don't know if you put mj on any squad they win rings...not saying he wouldn't ...but with bron I can say it with a little more certainty because his game is so dependent on utilizing everyone around him....I know those players are gonna get better with him.

Jordan wasn't a dominant three point shooter so what exactly are you talking about? His only "good years" we're the years with a shortened line. Jordan had GOAT midrange and GOAT post game (For perimeter players) but he wasn't typically killing teams from 25 feet out. He was slashing, getting to the land, using that mid-range shot, and posting dudes up.

Kareem's dominance on the post surpasses Jordan's dominance in the post. Is Melo better than Shaq because he's a beast in the post and a beast on the perimeter?

yeah, i would say #99 too. the numbers he put up are beyond fukking absurd. gretzky's individual accolades and accomplishments are completely crazy. he's literally set dozens of records, most of which don't even have a chance to be beaten. plus he has 4 rings on his hand, so you can't do the 'b-b-but he wasn't a winner!" thing.

dude absolutely dominated his sport, more than mike, more than anyone else, really.
