The entertainment factor plays a large role in this debate and MJ was the most entertaining athlete EVER, and thats not debatable on any level in any sport. I would probably put Tyson at 2nd, Barry Sanders at 3rd, and maybe Ali at 4. Wade, Iverson, Kobe, and Vince could possibly be top 10 all time entertainment wise in all sports also. I would have to think on that though. Of course im speaking from the perspective of a nikka that does not watch Hockey or Baseball but generally speaking, those are not "entertaining" sports to begin with. If anyone feels different I cant disagree though.

Matter of fact, dudes like Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, Roy Jones, Pacquaio, etc would qualify over any baseball or Hockey player imo.

In hockey, both a goal and an assist count as 1 point each. Gretzky finished his career with the following stats:
Games played - 1487
Goals Scored (#1) - 894
Assists (#1) - 1963
Points (#1) - 2857
The guy in second place has a total of 1887 points in 1756 games. So if you'd take away all of Gretzky's goals, he'd still have the most points in NHL history... And that's in 269 less games played. Gretzky is on a whole other level.
