you really trying to tell us mj could defend the rim like kareem :snoop:
:dwillhuh:

Can u read breh????

And let's not act as if Kareem was known as a great defensive player my nikka. He was no slouch but he was no Russell, Hakeem, or even Wilt defensively.

Mike was the GOAT perimeter player rim protector, Wade is a VERY close 2nd. U gotta put things into context to understand my point, so u gotta weigh positional and physical advantages and put all those against the main strengths.

MJ may be the only player in NBA history with absolutely no weaknesses. Any GOAT level bug automatically has a weakness on the perimeter, and that will always be seen as weakness in this type of debate.

Mike can play down low, Kareem can't play on the perimeter fam.

Nah, I'd put Gretzky up there as well. If you take away all his goals, he'd still be the number one player in points :merchant:
Exactly. More goals than anyone all time, more assists than anyone all time, more goals and more assists than anyone else has points. The correct answer is Wayne Gretzky, Wilt Chamberlain, or Babe Ruth. Ruth single handedly changed the game. Was out there leading the league in home runs as a starting pitcher for the Red Sox :wow:

6 rings in a league with damn near 20 more teams >>>>>>>> 11 rings. Mike has 5 MVP's homie :mjlol:. Lets just act like the "Jordan Rules" never existed right?

Let's act like the league in Russell's time didn't allow players to get away with shyt that would get players T'd up/ejected from games with the quickness. :mjlol:

Let's act like players like Michael Olawakandi and Travis Knight existed in Russell's time.:mjlol:

Let's act like Jordan played against a rival as great as Wilt--and dominated.:mjlol:

The Jordan rules was a fairly simple strategy honestly. Funnel Mike into a double team if he tries to go toward the middle of the floor, or force him to the baseline and trap. Schemes weren't really allowed to be more complex than that in the 80's. It's not like how Dallas played Shaq or LeBron in the 2006 and 2011 finals or how the Spurs played defensively in the 2013 finals. :russell: Also has 5 MVP awards too. We really should give him more credit than we do.
