Canelo got tired of beating up on the heavybag.

“I wasn’t ever hurt. But I was inviting him to open up and exchange so we could give the public a beautiful fight. The preparation, the hard work was done in training and yes of course in the fifth, sixth round I felt a little exhausted but that’s normal. Then I got my second wind and picked it up and finished strong,” Canelo said. - See more at: Canelo Admits He Got Tired Pounding on Chavez, Then Recovered - Boxing News

He didn't get tired really cuz he didn't have to work at all.

According to a writer GGG hurt canelo in sparring.

Not salty, just annoyed of constantly having to read asinine shyt about Danny's footwork...

This the same cat that got put on his ass by Sergio fukking Mora...He doesn't move that well or slip punches and has a suspect chin...97g stans overrating his ability now because he outboxed and exposed the generic euro HBO hypejob for being the stiff that he is with limited boxing ability...

and I don't think this will be an easy fight by any stretch of the imagination for Canelo due to stamina concerns I have and as you pointed out Canelo is susceptible to the jab which 97g does stick well...I expect a hard fought competitive fight with the better boxer winning...

The better boxer is Canelo...
Danny has good foot speed.

ohhhh now it's a toss up a few weeks ago you was saying "Canelo losses to ggg :yeshrug:" :usure:

A few weeks ago, last time we seen Canelo he was sucking up wind after only 3 rounds with Liam Smith.

GGG aint Liam Smith...he gasses vs GGG, he's going to sleep.

ggg is going to have his lowest punch output in this fight. Canelo is really like cell out chea. nikka was dead in the middle of the ring having Chavez tentative to throw because Canelo would push back off his front foot just enough to get out of range but with enough room for him to counter or he would slip and shoot the right hand in like .02 seconds :damn:.....Also that hand speed is going to be a huuuuge problem for him.

The hand speed can be an issue, but GGG is much better than Chavez and keeps coming forward all night. No resting vs him.

Canelo will HAVE to get GGG's respect by landing alot of flush big shots on him in order to win or he will be walked down and KOd.

Im still leaning towards GGG, Im just saying its a toss up. I think GGG wins, but it's a winnable fight for Canelo if he can take shots from GGG & doesnt gas

Breh, I can't help but think the whole thing was staged. :mjlol: It was like everything we've all questioned about Canelo was answered in a $69.00 sparring session disguised as an infomercial masquerading as a PPV fight.

But but but Canelo's stamina................stands between rounds. Hardly breathing in between rounds or during.

But but but can Canelo fight a bigger man........Chavez didn't even show up to fight. I figured as much out by round three when I turned it off. The head to head rest was a giveaway. Swear they were communicating during those moments. Even when Canelo leaned against the ropes Chavez still didn't throw that much.

But but but Canelo is flat footed..........Canelo jumped in and out, backed Chavez up. He basically looked like Sweat Pea considering how stationary Chavez was.

But but but will he fight Gennady? Come to find out the contract was signed a week ago which means one of two things. They were that confident he was going to beat Chavez, or Chavez was in on the whole thing. Maybe even a little bit of both :jbhmm: Canelo has been playing the heel too for the past few weeks, now here he is with the WWE sh!t talking about mediocre. :comeon: Saturday was beyond fugazi.

On another note though, Mathysse :picard:

If it was a charade, then Im back to saying GGG beats Canelo....no way Canelo wins:heh:

Which begs the question, what was Broner's excuse?

Broner didn't win?:patrice:

Oh, I forgot....Matthysse stans are still :krs: over meaningless KOs in non-title affairs:heh:

Well, how many KO wins does Matthysse have in Championship bouts?:sas1:

Broner has 6, which begs the question..........what's Matthysse's excuse?:sas2:

Alot of big fights have been made before fights. Both ward and kov had signed to fight before they beat their previous opponents. You out here really dont know how this shyt works.

There was most likely a claus in the contract that stated that if he beats Jr they fight in september. Im sure if jr would have pulled off the upset the fight would be resqueduled. This was obviously a tune up for when he fights the bigger fighter, jr just didnt deliver his end.

They had that wwf video set up just in case, just like the falcons had them super bowl champions shirts ready

Canelo was also 20 years old and he held his on per doug fischer

Here’s what I recall from the six-round session I witnessed in Big Bear, Calif. (which I wrote about in a Gym Notes column): Alvarez was preparing for his first title defense against Ryan Rhodes and Golovkin, who I’d never seen in person, was getting ready for Kassim Ouma. Golovkin’s trainer, Abel Sanchez, wanted his middleweight to get some work with Canelo in order to experience the faster hands of a naturally smaller fighter. Golovkin was not supposed to give Canelo the “full treatment,” and it was clear from the sparring I saw that he was indeed holding back.

Still, Golovkin “holding back” was a lot for Canelo, only 20 at the time, to deal with. And the young man did well. I’d say he held his own, even though he couldn’t hurt Golvokin with his best shots. What Alvarez showed me in those 4-minute rounds at 6,000-plus-feet altitude was that the Mexican star was willing to put in very hard work in order to learn his craft and to get in proper condition for his fights.

I was not impressed by what I saw of Alvarez during his WBC 154-pound title winning effort against Matthew Hatton three month earlier. He seemed one-dimensional in his approach and his power appeared overrated. I wasn’t even sure if he would get past Rhodes, who was an experienced junior middleweight contender with solid skills. But watching Alvarez work his jab and exhibit good footwork while moving about the ring during his sparring session with Golovkin let me know that the kid was more versatile than most of us had seen in his fights up to that point of his career.

Golovkin hurt Alvarez a few times – a hook at the end of the second round visibly stunned him and some body shots made him wince – but the young man kept his head and found ways to compete even when he was clearly tired (a combination of the altitude and GGG’s pressure) in the last two rounds

Practice,were talkin bout practice:aicmon:

we also heard errol spence knocked out floyd but we aint choosing him over floyd.

That's not normal in a fight like the one he was in, because he wasn't under pressure, nor was he moving away from danger. He threw 203 punches thru the 1st - 4th rounds (50 punches a round) and was "exhausted"?:patrice:

Maybe he meant a little tired....exhausted is a strong word, ima claim it was lost in translation:patrice:

im saying, i like GGG and his power is fearsome but against jacobs he looked flustered and lost

if canelo can avoid flush shots i can easily see him winning a decision

problem to me is if GGG decides he can eat canelos punches and gets him into a brawl. Canelo looked sharp vs chavez but DEFINTELY not powerful

Chavez got a granite chin

How can you say Nelo didn't look.powerful?

He'll hurt Triple G

I know breh, he was also 20 years old going up against a 30 year old middleweight. It also said he kept his head and held his own.

Alot of things change in 5 years.

Now people sayin the fight was fixed as if Canelo would really need any help to beat a complete bum like chavez......jesus christ:mjlol:......go rewatch the first few rounds. Julio was actually trying to fight. Then in the 3rd and 4th round Canelo put a serious beating on him and Julio was done. He had no more heart left and went into survival mode. This is exactly what we told you would happen before the fight. There's levels to this, and Canelo is by far the best fighter Julio has ever fought. This version of Canelo would have easy worked ANY version of Chavez, period. Chavez didn't throw because he was being hurt. The shyt was obvious.
