The more I think about it the more I think Canelo gets knocked the fukk out. didn't even really consider his stamina issues.
GGG pressure + jab is going force Canelo to move all night long. then he is going have to load up on most of his punches early in order to get respect.
So canelo is going come in the biggest he's ever been most likely, have to move all fight long if GGG hurts him like he has every other fighter he's fought, deal with the jab, load up on all of his punches, and be at a pretty big size and power disadvantage.
In order for Canelo to win he's going have to fight the perfect fight basically as far as being pin point and economical with his punches. And he's going have to hurt a guy who ate punches from Lemeiux, Stevens, and Jacobs with ease. :patrice:

Chavez Jr =/= GGG just like Brook =/= Canelo :manny:
I never said Chavez equaled little g. I said he has enough pop to hurt little g. There's a reason nobody stands in front of Canelo and trades shots. Everybody who does gets knocked out. I don't need to see Canelo beat up on bum ass Chavez to know he can beat little g. I said he would beat him long before this fight. The ONLY way little g wins is if Canelo gases, which is my only concern. Other than that, he has nothing for Canelo. Canelo even has a longer wingspan. The height difference will be minimal. I promise you little g's face will be a bloody mess by round 4. Canelo will target the body early and sap his power by the later rounds. It won't be a walk in the park cause I think little g is tough, but Canelo is just flat out more skilled and also has the heart for a war.

I still think they should bring in a conditioning coach for Canelo. His team has done a great job with him, but it can never hurt to have some extra help. If Canelo's stamina is on point, he'll beat little g decisively.

chavez chin is good but he's been hurt and he's been down....GGG hasn't even been hurt visibly or wobbled, much less KD..canelo's power is not all that to think off rip he will hurt GGG..its going to take accumulation..accumulation which he may not accomplish due to his stamina...canelo was teeing off on jr who was a statue and got tired in his own words by mid rounds

Agreed and to add on to that.

Canelo always been more of a sharp puncher than a hard puncher. Yeah he can crack, but he's not in the same league as guys like Tito and GGG. Canelo gets you with his accuracy and speed. The worst part though is he kinda loads up on 80% of his shots, so he's always expending a lot of energy on offense. That nikka lives and dies off his punching prowess. I don't think he ever had the stamina to develop good footwork. That extra movement would take away from his punching and then he'd be a different fighter.

Anybody can be hurt, so I'm not ruling out Canelo hurting GGG, but he'd almost have to change the delivery of his punches to do so. Dude has really fallen in love with loading up and hasn't fought anybody that has tried to actually hurt him while fighting back since Cotto. All the slight improvements we see with dude are based off of nikkas that can't hurt him (Khan) no hopers (Smith) and nikkas not even trying (Chavez Jr)

That's my biggest worry about Canelo leading up to this fight. nikka hasn't had to dig deep in a while. GGG had to still march forward with powershots while getting lit up by Brook, and he still had to keep his jab flexing while getting outboxed by Jacobs for stretches at a time. Meanwhile Balrog is just completing bonus stages. nikka literally beat up a car, brick wall, and some fukking barrels.

I still think its 60/40 for GGG to win, but Canelo can still pull it off he shows me another dimension to his game.

chavez has been knocked down by fighters his size and when he didnt train properly. canelos only shot was from body punching, but chavez was in shape for this fight

GGG on the other hand, seemed real hesitant of Jacob's power and fought very cautiously, but then again, Jacobs was the bigger man

the fight will either play out like GGG vs porter where GGG pressures the smaller man and forces canelo to engage with him. In this case, someones getting knocked out

if ggg respects canelos power, then the fight will be similar to ggg vs jacobs

most likely it will be a 12 round decision for canelo

he aint losing on the cards

yep especially if its in mexico or texas......:lolbron:

If ggg can deal with davids power, he can deal with canelo.. ggg does very well against shorter Fighters, I see him treating canelo like David.. It's all about match ups and this favors ggg greatly.

I honestly don't think Jacobs nor Lemieux ever tried to land their hardest shots on GGG. Brook and Stevens are the only guys I can recall ever sitting down on their shots and throwing with conviction. They both have quick hands tho so maybe that was the case. Everybody else always gave off the impression that they just wanna score points or just land anything on GGG, not necessarily hurt him.

Canelo got quick hands and loads up, he'll definitely throw his best shots at Golovkin.

They both have things that favor them in this match up, but I still favor GGG.

Win or lose, I don't think either guy just flat out wipes his ass with the other.

oh and Canelo is 2x the fighter Lemieux is :dahell:
thats not even up for debate, plus they have totally different styles.

David didn't sit on his punches?:dahell:

All he does is sit on his punches, I just watched the fight last night.

David would beat canelo tbh, reason why they never fought.

Canelo does have fast hands but ggg faced Fighters who have fast hands too, all neutralized by the jab.

Ain't Lemieux signed to GB? That fight will always be there for Canelo; Chavez and Golovkin both net more money.
Yes there both signed there, I'm saying in preparation it would have been good.
