There's no comparison between this fight and Canelo/Floyd. At least Canelo was landing body shots. At least he was fighting :damn:

Damn you salty like I'm some GGG Stan that you've been arguing with for years now.:russ:

You make a lot of good points, but fact is Danny still got knocked down and was roughed up by a physically smaller fighter. He was too willing to trade with Golovkin, and it's what ultimately cost him the fight, which is why I said he didn't do it exceptionally well.

Like I said, you make a lot of good points, especially about the footwork :obama: but there's no way that this fight will be as easy as you're making it seem for Canelo. There's going to be a lot of give and take for as long as the fight lasts.

I'm just sitting over here looking at that Cotton gif thinking 'its pretty, but I ain't forget how much success Cotto had with his jab...'

I got my money on Nelo, but I ain't discrediting GGG for the same reason imma be giving Canelo props for beating him.
Not salty, just annoyed of constantly having to read asinine shyt about Danny's footwork...

This the same cat that got put on his ass by Sergio fukking Mora...He doesn't move that well or slip punches and has a suspect chin...97g stans overrating his ability now because he outboxed and exposed the generic euro HBO hypejob for being the stiff that he is with limited boxing ability...

and I don't think this will be an easy fight by any stretch of the imagination for Canelo due to stamina concerns I have and as you pointed out Canelo is susceptible to the jab which 97g does stick well...I expect a hard fought competitive fight with the better boxer winning...

The better boxer is Canelo...

How we not gonna talk about the improvement of Canelo's jab though?.....he throws that shyt like a cannon and with pin point accuracy. Busted up Julio's nose early. Completely dictated the whole pace of the fight. :banderas:

Also noticed Canelo was throwing at different speeds and power. Usually everything he throws is a power punch. But he was mixin it up nicely last night. He's really putting it all together now. If he keeps improving on the footwork, he's gonna be hard to beat for anybody.

After that destruction of Chavez, and the power to make Chavez scared to let his hands go, Im now thinking Canelo/GGG is a 50-50 fight due to the fact Canelo's chin is legit and his stamina was there all night. He didn't even sit between rounds:wow:

I can list reasons where either of them can win now, and can see scenarios where either of them lose as well:obama:

Pure toss up fight now imo.

It is what it is breh

All the old heads know I think highly of Canelo...besides the Floyd fight I've never gone against him

I stick by my guys tho...fukk I look like saying jccjr goin get his ass kicked

Chavez fought to survive...i knew he wouldn't get knocked out...he deserves all the shyt for being gun shy N not letting his hands go

Having said that Nachos old bytch ass needs to :camby:

Dumbest game plan in the history of sports...shyt was like having Shaq vs Curry 1 on 1 N you want Shaq to shoot 3s

I really hoped the talk of Chavez out boxing Canelo was :duck:

Let Chavez get beat tf up in the middle of the ring...lose all confidence get tired from backing up...let Canelo gain all the confidence

Not one strategy to have Chavez impose his size on Canelo...not even hold N lay on him :snoop:

Hate to say I told you so breh :manny: The minute I saw the fukkery with him being <8lbs a month in I knew it was going to be bad news. He should have been 15-20lbs with 4 weeks left in camp. I'm far from a Chavez stan but Canelo should not have been pushing him off him like that shyt was :hhh: his team gave up their only advantage and were in the media like :jawalrus: we might need to file that paperwork on memo and Nacho. They both did Chavez dirty for this fight.

nikkas talk shyt about Freddy Roach but if he would have tooktraining as seriously as he did here with Roach as his coach he would have had a least a tiny bit of success. Hopefully they took dude to the hospital after the fight because he ate a LOT of punches man, I know he has a great chin and all but that type of beating could ruin a nikka.

walters vs loma?
that was disappointing as fukk but not the worst

try watching wlad and ibragimov in a parry fest for 12 rounds or chris byrd and TOS do nothing in their fight where the ref had to threaten a double DQ

canelo-jr was lackluster because jr didnt offer anything outside of a chin and canelo couldn't put him down as much as he tried and it was hyped as a grudge match...a rare shytty fight between 2 mexicans..reminiscent of a typical miguel vazquez fight

ohhhh now it's a toss up a few weeks ago you was saying "Canelo losses to ggg :yeshrug:" :usure:

ggg is going to have his lowest punch output in this fight. Canelo is really like cell out chea. nikka was dead in the middle of the ring having Chavez tentative to throw because Canelo would push back off his front foot just enough to get out of range but with enough room for him to counter or he would slip and shoot the right hand in like .02 seconds :damn:.....Also that hand speed is going to be a huuuuge problem for him.

Agreed

I almost forgot how bad Wlad/Ibragimov was. Scariest heavyweight fight ever. Wlad vs Dopevetkin is also up there.

JMM vs Gainer is another one for the archives if we talking about a Mexican fighting someone that isn't trying to fight back. That shyt was awful to watch.

Breh, I can't help but think the whole thing was staged. :mjlol: It was like everything we've all questioned about Canelo was answered in a $69.00 sparring session disguised as an infomercial masquerading as a PPV fight.

But but but Canelo's stamina................stands between rounds. Hardly breathing in between rounds or during.

But but but can Canelo fight a bigger man........Chavez didn't even show up to fight. I figured as much out by round three when I turned it off. The head to head rest was a giveaway. Swear they were communicating during those moments. Even when Canelo leaned against the ropes Chavez still didn't throw that much.

But but but Canelo is flat footed..........Canelo jumped in and out, backed Chavez up. He basically looked like Sweat Pea considering how stationary Chavez was.

But but but will he fight Gennady? Come to find out the contract was signed a week ago which means one of two things. They were that confident he was going to beat Chavez, or Chavez was in on the whole thing. Maybe even a little bit of both :jbhmm: Canelo has been playing the heel too for the past few weeks, now here he is with the WWE sh!t talking about mediocre. :comeon: Saturday was beyond fugazi.

On another note though, Mathysse :picard:
