If you're a grown man, you should be able to tell if a woman is interested in you, even outside of a date.

If you're out here afraid to lose a couple of dollars, you probably (a) shouldn't be dating in the first place and need to focus on getting your finances together (b)re-evaluate why you're even considering even putting yourself in the position where you a chick may expect you to spend so much money/time on her when you think she may not be interested.
