If you're the one taking the woman out then you should pay, if she asks you out, then you should split it and pay for what you bought for yourself.

Why would a man pay when he asks for the date but a woman, who asks, only has to pay half?

The last guy I asked out got a free meal, free drinks and free dessert .

If im not paying for a woman i dont ask her, i tell her before we even make one step towards going that im not paying. If i invite a woman out i expect to pay. I'm not paying if she invites me out. Any woman who invites you out and expects you to pay for it is looking for, only thing i save is money.
