Hmm, this is very interesting.

Are you saying deep down black men don't feel worthy? They feel 'valueless'

how does that even begin to make sense? if BW believe "nikkas aint shyt" and "there's no good BM", what does that have to do w/how BM feel about themselves?
Why do you think this is? Do you blame the racist infrastructure embedded into society? The gang-culture mentality? The high unemployment rates? Or female's placing a greater value on future financial security rather than love?

Give us your perspective? Although, I already know it'll be seasoned with every bw stereotype there is, lol.

you can attribute it to the racist infastructure, gang culture, high unemployment -- but its definitely NOT black women placing greater value on financial security :laff: these chicks get pregnant by bums and dont even realize the ramifications until its too late.

it could also be BM getting brutalized by cacs for centuries, it could be because todd signs their checks. either way, i've seen enough examples to know BW rarely take their attitude across the fence.

But this is not exclusive to black women. Generally speaking, most women (of any race/ethnicity) will not submit to a man that they do not perceive as being worth submitting to....why would they?

But more importantly, why do you deem black men as "valueless"? That is very disturbing and wreaks of low self esteem.

i did not deem BM valueless, i said BW often perceive black men as valueless.

and i know women will not submit to men they view as worthless, that's my entire point. :why:

Learn the game, that's it. Capitalize on how the world works and use that knowledge to get the best possible partner. A lot of people spend more time DISCUSSING dating than actually dating, once you've been doing it for a while its not nearly as complicated as some of you make it seem

I wish posters like @kevm3 and @Turbulent posted more, they would shut down all these dating threads with a quickness :ld:

But you must remember that the knowledge you possess might be new territory for some. Yes, it may seem repetitive to you because you are at that stage in life whereby you understand social dynamics and this is all regurgitated info; nonetheless, if you can benefit someone, then it's always worth sharing it again. Every emotion perceivable to you has already been felt by another human being. That shouldn't stop people from sharing their story/knowledge. With each new generation, the same trials and tribulations are replayed a million times. However, the stories, no matter how similar are forever told from a new angle... to keep the tales alive and to school the younger generation; in hopes that they won't make similar mistakes, but the tune remains melancholic as heartbreaks just remain a part of life. Either way, we should encourage people to always talk about topics such as this... life lessons are never boring!

Do you know how stereotypes are formed? As human beings we like, no let me change that to love, we love to put people into boxes. It's how our brains work to categorize everything. We create schemas (a cognitive framework) to collect information of the world. However, problems occur when NEW information that doesn't coincide with our previous schema is collected. Instead of CHANGING our previous info, we make countless excuses (call them exceptions to the rule) before accepting that our previous schema was incorrect. Do you catch my drift? This is how racists and prejudice people operate. You, my friend, have created a hideous schema about black women. It's very difficult to have a debate with you since you present your stereotypes as facts. I'm a black woman. @Teedot is a black woman. There are black women here who have countless times tried to tell you we do not put white men on a pedestal. You refuse to take us seriously because that would require some mental effort to change your beliefs, I understand. Whenever you're ready to do that, I'll be here. Until then... carry on. I just hope no-one on here is taking you seriously.

You sound like Hannity from FOX news. So what if I'm not from the states? I speak English, right? And I watch Hollywood movies here and there, so I'm clearly qualified to speak on your culture.

That was British humour in case you missed it :skip:

I'm all up for debates but since we're all adults (I'm presuming) let's stop with placing each other in boxes to fuel our own hidden agenda. If you're serious about finding solutions to the problems you speak of, then you're going about it the wrong way. Selective reading and sweeping generalizations never solved anything!

nah, i dont care about the exceptions. we have to generalize for the sake of argument. we all understand its not fair to place everyone into a boxed stereotype.

:yeshrug: sorry, but yall respect white men on a different level.(same goes for BM, yes i know) i dont know if its the nature of our history, or simply because they give us employment; but BW have learned that its okay to submit in relationships w/white men.

same way a BW will turn on her "polite" voice for a white man on the phone, same way y'all act in relationships with them
my mom does this :wow:

WTF are you talking about? Todd is signing Tyrone's check too.

Black women worked right along side black men on the same plantations in the same cotton fields. Black women were also lynched. Black women were raped and forced to serve dinner every night to their rapists so stop with the one-sided revisionist history. Black men seem to conveniently forget that black women were on the same journey of dehumanization during slavery. Yet when it comes time to fluckk a PAWG these same black men not only forget black women's struggles but they also forget that their Becky could've had them lynched for just looking at them just 50 years ago.
