As far as Meg's popularity, a few of her singles pop, but they don't have the same staying power as many of her peers, despite her being a better rapper on paper than most of them. Her style, subject matter, and overall presentation are clearly meant to appeal to women and gay men, but her style of rapping does not, as those demos don't care as much about bars as they do hooks or lines that can easily be used in Tik Toks and IG captions. She is the Hummer EV of the mainstream women rappers.
