Don't have a kid unless you ready to give up all your freedoms. If you not gonna be a deadbeat dad. Get all that fun out of you because kids change everything!

Co sign 100% :salute:

We just had our first little one, almost 2...kids don't care about when you want to have sex or sleep. Some nights ya boy had to charge that erection to the game. You will learn the art of quickies real fast...

Wife pregnant again, and we about to have our 2nd child...LAWD HAVE MERCY...:to:

1. You already know this, but keep God first in all you do.

2. It may seem weird at first, but surround yourself with married couples at least 5 to 10 years older than you, maybe even hang around older married black men and women in their 50's - 60"s who have weathered the storms of what a lot marriages go through.

3. STAY OUT OF DEBT AS IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT. STATISTICS HAVE SHOWN THAT THE NUMBER ONE CAUSE OF DIVORCE OTHER THAN THE DEATH OF A CHILD IS DEBT. #DEBTFREESQUAD

4. Communicate about your sexual needs and desires, don't assume what you think will satisfy your spouse. ALSO DO NOT BASE YOUR MARRIAGE ON SEX.

5. NYKKA DIDN'T YOU JUST HEAR ME SAY STAY OUT OF DEBT!!!

6. Do not spend more than 10K on your entire wedding including her dress, and her wedding ring. KEEP IN MIND, UNLESS HER DAD PAYING FOR THAT SHIII, THE MARRIAGE CEREMONY, AND RECEPTION IS ABOUT YA'LL ENTERTAINING YOUR GUESTS, DON'T GIVE THEM GREEDY HUNGRY NEGROES, AND NEGRESSES MORE THAN THEY CAN EAT CAUSE YOU GONE BE LEFT TO PAY INTEREST ON THAT BILL.

7. Always set aside time through the week to manage your household bills and budget. Plan for goals to achieve together every month.

8. ON YOUR WEDDING NIGHT EAT HER COOTA BOX LIKE A POPEYES TWO PIECE SNACK WITH EXTRA BUTTER ON THE BISCUITS :blessed:

Happily married to a black queen, oh yea, and she high yella!!! #teamlightskin
ALL OF THIS!
The ONLY thing I disagree on is the cost of the wedding.
We cheap in my family so I'd shoot for under $7k
Hell the less u spend on one day the more u have to invest in where you wanna spend the rest of ur life: ur house!!!

True, my wife is from Louisiana so she wanted that cajun/creole dish...dayum chef hit us ova the head with them prices...I was blessed wifey did not want an expensive dress or ring:blessed:...but I still went big on the ring anyway...whatever you do stay away from Zales, Marks & Morgan, etc, those diamonds are cheap and marketed up at least 60 -70%

Do you research on diamonds, the four c's and always inspect your diamond, go online and research study what to look for and pay wholesale cash if possible, and bargain for at least -20% of the asking price.

Death
Well...
EDIT: It's different for everyone, all I can say is stay committed and honor your vows. That way if you have to walk away you know you've done your part.

Good luck.
You're gonna need it.
