Dr strange had a 200 million budget, and made 950 million. Explain to me how that Is underperforming?

You been following the convo? it's based on industry insiders and the 'wants' and expectations of Disney. You didn't account for P&A costs. They wanted an 'event' out of it because they sold it as more than a sequel. They sold it as the lead-in to the future of the MCU.
That's also why it was so frontloaded. Had a huge drop after the OW.
i wouldn't be surprised if Thor actually outperforms it. Plus we also discussed Eternals and Shang Chi among other things. We want to see the MCU at it's best

Quick Google search comes up with nothing of the sortShang chi was a great movie with a 91% RT score. Made 400 million even though it was one of first theater exclusive movies post pandemic. Eternals was trash, I won't say shyt about that. They tried, they failed. But they kept the ball rolling after that

It's not even a fair comparison, phase 1 consist of 5-6 films, phase 4 is like 25 total projects between TV/Film and we still havent seen everything. Marvel is on another level of pushing content right now and it's why some of you feel the way you feel
It's at the point now that if you don't like it...then don't watch it. When I was a kid I was only checking for X Men and Spider Man, I wasn't going out My way to check for inhumans and x factor
The only 2 projects I found boring in phase 4 were eternals and the falcon n winter soldier (which ima give a 2nd rewatch). Everything else I've thoroughly enjoyed and you can definitely see them building to something greater whether it's multiversal fukkery with Kang, thunderbolts, young avengers, secret invasion, and secret wars.
And again, we still have X Men, F4, Dr Doom, Deadpool and Blade on the way.
This ain't the same Marvel Studios from 2008 who were pulling themselves out of bankruptcy with the infinity saga. This is marvel studios $25 billion dollars later providing us with a shytload of content. And guess what? They rarely miss when you look at the big picture
The problem in here is you guys are putting those "misses" on a pedestal and using it to prophecise some kind of downfall saying it's over.
