What I find funny is these dudes say Guerrero is a poor fight but yet say Margarito was a defining one, yet none of them can explain what what makes Maragrito's wins in 06 so much better than Guerrero's

To add to this...

Guerrero is basically a better southpaw version of Cheato minus the bricks...He's tough as nails and keeps coming forward a lot like Cheato...Dude has a great chin and uses his size very well but he's slow as fukk and his defense is basura...

Berto with limited vision for most of their fight laced this dudes face up something serious...The only question is will Robert Byrd allow Guerrero to get away with the roughhouse tactics Lou Moret let him get away with against Berto...If Guerrero ain't allowed to work in the clinch Floyd is going to Gatti this nikka...

1. Miguel Cotto

(Arum kept him away from Floyd, this is known, he was at ringside when Floyd trashed Gatti so was Hatton but only one of them offered up a challenge.)

2. Antonio Margarito

(Miss me with that, lets forget Floyd had just left Arum and we all know that history, lets also forget the Floyd turned him down to fight a better fighter at higher weight for more money. Hell even before that he fought and beat the lineal champion in Baldomir.)

This may not apply to you but most throw out Margarito's name as a tool to beat Floyd with, without knowing a damn thing about his history and anyone saying that he was a must fight or defining fight for Floyd in 2006 is a damn lair.)

3. Joshua Clottey

(Tough fighter but again at what point would they have fought and why, nobody every called for this fight and when Floyd came back Clottey he was gate keeper status)


4. Paul Williams

(I don't think Floyd ducked him, I was interested in seeing this but felt Floyd would beat him because Williams does not fight tall.)

5. Shane Mosley

(Floyd has called out Mosley but Shane had a bad tooth or some garbage and bailed out and even when they did fight he was a champ after beating the man who beat Cotto*)

I don't like Floyd at 154, I never have. It seemingly takes him out of his comfort zone. He was 151 for Cotto and if memory serves me correctly, the same for Oscar. Trout will get to 168 after rehydration. Cotto was like that last year against Floyd, that's why that jab was getting through Floyd's defense at times. I have no fear whatsoever from Robert.

At this point, I'm somewhat in this boat. Dude only got a few fights left and I'm hyped at the opportunity to see one of the greatest ever perform at close to his Prime level.

There is nothing like the anticipation of a big fight night. Hopefully this is just a tune up for Canelo though.

people don't realize,that no one wanted to fight Floyd when they were getting paid elsewhere because if you lose you lose out on potential money in future fights. That's why you Shane ducked him
That's why Cotto ducked him


after they were getting smacked around then they fought him for the easy payday because their prime money potential fights were over.

Floyd on the inside is incredible though, hes not the type to be rough housed himself, floyd showed in the hatton fight and before that, against jesus chavez that on the inside if you wanna play rough (scarface voice) hes ready his damn self. the way he did hatton on the inside doesnt get enough credit, that was hattons bread and butter and he tore him to pieces with next to no room to get off. they werent ready for that at all.

Dap.....nikkas were ducking Floyd left and right in his real prime.

People only wanted to fight him after he fought De La Hoya because with his new found stardom, a Mayweather fight has essentially become a lottery ticket that you just can't lose under any circumstances.......No one expects you to win and even if you lose you get the biggest check of your career.

Hatton tried to muscle floyd and admitted after the fight that Floyd was a lot stronger on the inside than he thought he would be. Guererro even if the Ref lets him isnt going to have his own way with Floyd. Ring Smart > Ring Heart....And Floyd has both of those while Guererro has 1
