wtf is up with the promotion of this fight? I just saw this now. Didn't realize CBS was airing some documentary this Saturday at 8...which kinda sucks because both HBO & Showtime have fights that night

NCIS: Los Angeles star/recording artist LL Cool J will narrate Mayweather, a one-hour documentary about the life of undefeated eight-time world boxing champion Floyd “Money” Mayweather, to premiere on CBS this Saturday, April 27 at 8/7c.

The docu — which also profiles world champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero, whom Mayweather will fight May 4 in the Showtime PPV event May Day: Mayweather vs. Guerrero — features LL’s new song “We’re The Greatest,” featuring Eddie Van Halen. The track comes from the actor/singer’s new album Authentic, which drops April 30.

I've been seeing Mayweather/Guerrero everywhere in NYC, just going to school. Every couple buses, in the train stations..

I think sports fans/boxing fans were much more aware of the hype and promotion because HBO markets to boxing, sports fans, but Showtime gets that CBS audience and are probably pushing the fight on platforms people like us would never view.


Just started watching the All-Access thing, no Liev Schreiber or epic 24/7 music - doesn't feel epic. Showtime is just the inferior network, for prestige, for quality

It was last week Guerrero was reported at 153 for the 7 day weigh in, even still it was horrible that Guerrero in the biggest fights of his career is at the grocery store, buying gallons of water and greens just to cut weight, he's struggling. Guerrero is supposed to be a small WW gaining weight in the final weeks eating steaks like Ruben stated in the earlier episodes, not focused on losing weight


I almost feel bad for Guerrero dude is gonna get the ass whipping of his life

the fukk? dude is a former featherweight...how the fukk is he having trouble making weight...he must be eating too good and/or not having his mind right..his conditioning has to be on point if he wants to pull off the upset..it would be terrible if dude misses weight
