that's a bad narrative to push if that's what gets run with
my friend who was there is really shook up. he said he really thought he was going to die, he said it sounded like the shooter was 50 yards away and in the chaos people were screaming that the shooter was coming their way. Said his friend was taking video of the concert and the video he took some girl got shot in the head. shyt is so fukked up. I didn't even know what to say to him other than I'm glad you're safe and if you need anyone to talk to I'm here.

The chances that the US will approve gun ownership restrictions like those you see in Europe are equal to the chances that European countries will relax guns ownership laws to what we have here in the U.S.
Two completely different societies/cultures. It's not about trying to make the U.S. appear "exceptional" or better. It's just DIFFERENT. A waste of time and political capital.
And I find it interesting that all of a sudden people discount how a nation's political/social/cultural norms would affect what kinds of policies one can assume would have a reasonable chance of being implemented. How is that even controversial? We see it all the time.
things change, cultures change. Back during slavery I'm sure it sure as fukk appeared that it were pointless to try to outlaw it. So lets just do nothing and we can keep enjoying these mass shootings.

Dozens of kids got gunned down only a few years ago and these shootings kept on happening. There's little hope for things to change after this one.
Gun control has nothing to do with this? That's a weird statement to make when we live in the only country in the world with regular mass shootings of this magnitude.This has nothing to do with the 2nd amendment.

He was using outlawed assault rifles... what control measure beyond banned would you propose?
A congresswoman was shot in the head and federal laws didnt change and a congressman was shot at a morning softball game and federal laws didnt change... that was before the right gained full control. i think its safe to say gun laws are as tight as they can be.
