I've been preparing my girl for my absence since 2013. She know I'ma be M.I.A come Tuesday when I cop the game.
Multiplayer is fire, but the maps seem smaller than ME3, and it makes it harder as a result.

IMO, you only do day one/preorder if you're 100% sure or got money to lose.
If you got any doubt I'd at least wait for the reviews on the 20th. Other than that I can't tell you what to do with your hard earned money.
