Even though I thought the movie was shyt and the attempts at having emotional resonance were clumsy and amateur I could at least appreciate the visuals. Bet it would look exceptional in 4k.

Filmed in 8K. Had a 4K digital intermediate, though some nerds claim it was down-rezzed to 2k because almost all studios only do CGI at 2k due to costs.

If you read on the bluray forum the nerds really get into this shyt and i've learned quite a bit.

VUDU has the digital UHD exclusive. word is even if you buy the 4k blu the digital will only redeem in HD.

I copped the digital UHD on vudu. If you start a free "movies on us" it gives you a 25% discount that's good for 4 days so it was $18 bucks.

Movie was ok but way too long and forced especially the comedy aspect of it. Its watchable but part 1 in wayyyy better imo.
