Finally watched last night. First MCU jawn I didnt' see in the theater.

I liked it better than the first (that cornball dance off REALLY ruined the movie for me).

I liked it. But gotdamn was the whole movie shot on green screen?

Kinda wish they didn't use Ego as Starlord's father and stuck with his real comic father character, but ehhh.

Solid 4/5 for me.

I agree, this movie is solid. they added more depth to the yondu character.

I just watched it for the first time last night cuz there's a high quality bootleg available.

the disc drops in 2 weeks so the one I watched was the bluray rip. Before that, there was an HD russian subtitle bootleg on Kodi. Audio was too muffled for me though

Note that marvel hadn't run itself into bankruptcy and sold off all their film rights at this point.

Marvel entertainment were releasing the literal worst comic book films in history. It took sony and fox to show them how to actually treat the properties with some respect and how to make money with them.

watching this FINALLY now. noticed that they gave kurt russell the same michael douglas face CGI treatment at the beginning of the film.

if this is possible, why aren't 100 more terminator movies possible with arnold still starring????

They literally did that with Arnold already. I think it was terminator 3.

It was awful.

Terminator franchise needs to old yellered.

Arnold was in genesys as well and shyt was terrible.

Finally got around to watching this today. Much better than the first one which I thought was mediocre. Bautista as Drax is fukking hilariousThe humor overall in this might be the most natural out of anything Marvel's done thus far. Baby Groot is cute as hell and steals every scene he's in. The visuals were top notch. It was nice to see the mystery of who Star Lord's dad is solved but the main conflict of the film was pretty flimsy. Plus it somewhat undermines Thanos' motivations, if they're going with the whole death thing. The Peter Quill/Rocket Racc00n beef was forced too. Cool seeing the Watchers make cameos.

Saw it 3 seems back. It was just all right to me. The dancing baby groot thing took me off the movie, the middle really dragged also. I did like the Yondu character development though I'm regards to his relationship with Stafford.
