That game would print money but I'm not even sure how it could work. Would be really fukking weird to see Ryu shoryukening guys heads clean off and just as weird seeing MK without over the top gore. One would have to give to make it work

Yeah, I'm a MVC2 stan forever, but after a decade, ugh. I used to go hard making Dreamcast versions with custom music. CVS2 also. I still have 3S as best soundtrack.
