Dudes crying about waiting on Blade and X-Men still? Y'all still don't realize the man power and millions upon millions of dollars that were put into preparing these films that are now being filmed and released currently? All of it in the works before any of this new stuff was secured, and they supposed to just drop it all or change things around completely to speedily force some stuff out there?

They been speedily forcing ish out there for a minute. You see how fast Spidey got 1 movie, let alone 3 movies? Look how fast they threw Thor 4 together. There's not even a script for the next Ant-Man, and they had no clue what to do with Strange. Look at Falcon & Winter Soldier already in pre. Granted the show was supposed to come out in 2020, but Black Panther sequel should have been ready before that too.

Blade was announced before Moon Knight & She-Hulk...and Ironheart. They had Blade when they were working on New Warriors & Ghost Rider.

They want Blade to be the old black man so they can throw him away later. I told yall about this.

Black don't crack but watch every promotion of him make him look wrinkly as fukk.

Marshala Ali has no integrity. This is about making sure black boys have no role models or weak role models.

The problem with the black daughter is they had made Blade asexual and theres already iron heart and shuri they just don't want young black men to get any spotlight.

They like falcon because they can treat him like property and he has no super powers. Falcon is a safe negro who just follows others.

Falcon a legit follower but watch them make him the leader of the team. They do that to throw people off.

The black male leader is always the weakest member.
New Warriors, Young Avengers, Avengers with Falcon Cap as leader come to mind. There are many examples of this.

Blue Marvel, Spectrum, Storm and Black Panther says hello.
Blue Marvel is old, Monica Rambuo and storm are females, none of these characters are threatening to the mostly white male audience.

BP was nerfed in most of his publication history. Before Christopher Priest got a hold of him in the 90s he was really just Peak human with no real powers, that includes his original turn as leader of the avengers.
Do Luke Cage, Miles Morales and Doctor Voodoo now.
Brother Voodoo had powers when he fist appeared in the 70s but when they brought him back in Dr Strange during the 80s it was implied that Voodoo wasn't real and Jericho was a con artist who faked magic. I'm pretty sure it stayed that way until the 90s but to my knowledge Voodoo has never been leader of a team so I do t know why he was mentioned.

Luke was historically nerfed too. As compared to other "strong guys", he's definitely one of the weakest and he wasn't the strongest person on new avengers, Monica Rambuo was.

I don't do teen Heroes anymore so I'm not sure about Miles Morales but I don't think he's ever been team leader. New Warriors and Young Avengers had the same trend.

49ers..Braves..Celtics
Disney bought Fox in 2019...that's 2 years that have also included a worldwide pandemic that slowed things that were already in motion:unimpressed:

nikkas just need to learn some patience, who knows what's really going on behind the scenes to get dozens of movies and shows out there

Come on... They just announced even more delays. Everything is backed up through 2023 now. it will be 2024 at the earliest for Blade.

Do you think they’re going to have the vampires burst into CGI flames when they die to make it fit in the MCU?

They delayed this shyt to like 2025

With What If ? Popping I could see them just doing alternate versions of things we already got just recycling out actors as they ask for too much money like with the current previs tech Marvel makes all the movies on computers years in advance. The secrets been out they hire directors that they don’t allow to direct because they already made the movie think about directors that dropped out.

Marvel sold off characters and signed weird contracts with their backs against the walls they had to lean on C to F list characters (if you take note of the theme Park rules of universal studios vs Disney you see the picture better) so now they got higher things back they going to continue to push low stuff into major popularity then come in X-Men and Fantastic Four shyt and make more. Those movies don’t need to come until the 2050’s

They hoeing people out for decades

This the one they might scrap…. Why have a 50 year old look a like when u can get the real thing at a few years older (Wesley)…. shyt was doomed from the start when they disrespected Wesley by acting like they wanted him to come back only to come to turn they back when the “gay movie” Oscar winning black man comes calling. I fukk with mahershallah he got mad talent, but dude was already cottonmouth in the marvel universe. I don’t need cottonmouth blade, I’m good….

Could you expound?

Because of Marvel having the money problems they did they sold off characters Sony buying Spider-Man is the reason why there’s those special PS games from years past. Marvel sold pretty much the rest to universal studios. In the Florida theme parks Universal used the marvel characters to build a marvel world in the 90’s that was both inspired heavy by the comics and the cartoons at the time. There was an agreement where if Universal used a character in their park no park east of the Mississippi could use said character so of course everyone knows that universal has the Spider-Man ride and that Hulk coaster. Parks west of the Mississippi can’t even use the word Marvel.

Now Disney went and brought Marvel in 2009 but the agreements from before still matter so that’s why they can’t really do as much core Marvel shyt so when Guardians became popular they announced a whole Guardians ride in Orlando. Why this matters is because in 2019 Disney had 21 million visitors to the Magic Kingdom in Orlando And moving forward Marvel will be where most of their future ideas will come from because most of the Disney stuff is from the past and their more newer characters are so niche. The parks make so much money but as time goes forward new things have to be added but it’s hard this is one of the reasons why the movies of the future could possibly be more backloaded since Disney brought Fox who purchased the X-Men from Marvel.

Knowing these things it makes sense why for years Marvel would make up superpower X-Man and fantastic four like groups from the Immortals to the Enterals up as place holders or substitutes for them.

It’s why there wasn’t a “Marvel Disney Spider-Man” Sony and Disney made an agreement that got Spider-Man in the movies and I think it was a four movie deal but they could’ve re-upped.

It’s partly why Hulk was so nerfed in the Avenger movies and they never gave him another movie.

The other weird thing was that situation with the Quiksilver in the X-man movies and the one in the Avenger movie.

So with most things it leads to racism especially when we consider how little Black Panther got in the movies then how muted even in his movie his character was. Add in where we are now where the next black hero in Blade keeps getting pushed back similar to things that dropped off the face of the planet while other movies came and had sequels it’s a bad look.

So we’ve gone from characters who weren’t the hottest being boosted up out of necessity put in a hierarchy above ones that they shouldn’t be (Spider-Man is the most relatable hero but Superman and Batman had a near 30 year head start) to now all of that even being pushed aside for social justice work movies where it’s always somehow the woman is the strongest ever ( the Marvel cac lady) to even Thor 4 we know for a fact that somehow his girl gets his powers. (The Thor 3 Villain was the strongest in the universe since the last that happened to be a woman)

The Superhero movies pre 2005 were shyt on so much but did a lot that started where we are so for Marvel Iron Man was technically the first movie thing is RDJ wasn’t the first choice to play Iron Man especially since he was a druggie. Terrance Howard was paid between 3.5 and 4.5 Million to play Rhodes who down the line would be War Machine in addition to a raise if they made another one. They also signed him to other movies RDJ gets hired because Howard begged him (took a pay cut too) and the movie pops as they write Iron Man two they cut his role down to just a million.

As time went on RDJ got more money because of more movies and he started getting points. It’s rumored for Avengers Endgame alone he made any where from 50 million to 100 Million. The first Avengers movie netted him 70 million to 80 million.

Iron man ain’t Batman and he sure as hell ain’t no Spider-Man.

I appreciate that insight. I knew all about the rights and how they had to sell, but I had no idea how they affected the park agreements, or what the actual agreements were.

Those pre 05s were what I grew up on, so they’ve always had a special spot in my heart.

The bolded is funny af because I never cared about Ironman growing up outside of games, but him/Tony are my favorite MCU characters. Where Batman and Spider-Man have always been my favorite in DC/Marvel respectively.

If only they never had to sell those rights, shyt would look a lot different

But they've had Blade back for years, and Ghost Rider & Punisher. They were supposed to be their new Marvel Knights imprint. We're talking damn near 15 years
