Marvel Rivals (6 vs 6 PVP battles)- 12/6/24 [All platforms]

Just got out of a match where there was one tank, and 3 dps and none would take out the flanking goonknight or iron fist

always letting healers die and complaining for heals

end game with over 40k in heals despite all the death "Horrible heals and tank"

Yo, I swear to god 90% of the people can't think for themselves. I've had dudes complaining Rocket isn't good because he does low damage (at range), doesn't have a defensive ult, and his scoreboard usually is something like 10/0.

I EXPLAINED to this dude Rocket is S tier because his ult wipes teams because of the DPS increase. How BRB is one of the best abilities in the game. How the main advantage of using him is just spamming heals from half a screen away so even retarded over aggressive players can be saved. How Rocket is one of THE hardest supports to kill in the game. Dude just does not die.

End the game with 35k heals.

nikka we had 3 DPS and all of em were getting clapped for being out of position. Actually excuse me, we really had 2 DPS, but Jeff decided he wanted to spit water at our enemies instead of doing his main job

I had no time to do shyt but heal.

I just play Doom Match half the time now anyway. fukk this team shyt

Rocket is rated low stars for a reason. He's easy to learn and once you've got his skills mastered he's a fukking beast.

After getting some basic awareness and mechanics down, Rocket is dumb easy to use.

But I know we all get that dreadful feeling when the match starts and we see our Rocket marching side by side with Magneto like he's gonna wreck shyt up front

Yeah, I’m a Rocket main, and it’s insane how people dismiss a 40% damage buff for the team

Mfers can’t aim for shyt so it’s useless to them.

Played as Rocket last night for the first time in weeks. I picked him cause we had a punisher, winter soldier, AND a groot on our squad.

Breh I was playing as Thor and I was the only tank. I'm thinking aight my team knows Thor is an off-tank and can't solo tank well vs competent teams.

Game starts and I'm walking to point and the entire team goes 3 different ways. I end up on point alone and had to run for cover.

After the recent Dev Talk on rank adjustments, we have been closely monitoring the community's feedback. As the first half of Season 1 draws to a close, we recognize that some players are concerned about not having enough time to reach Gold rank and earn the Invisible Woman costume, Blood Shield reward. We have decided to make some adjustments to the reward system to accommodate and help support these players.

Here are the details:

1. The first half of the season will conclude on February 21, 2025, at 8:00 AM (UTC+0). Eligible players will receive their respective rewards, allowing them to enjoy the fruits of their hard work ahead of time.

2. The Gold rank costume rewards for the second half of the season will include: the Invisible Woman costume, Blood Shield, from the first half of the season, and the brand-new Human Torch costume, Blood Blaze, for the second half of the season. In order to claim both rewards, players must participate in at least 10 competitive matches during the second half of the season and reach Gold rank or higher. Keep in mind, this is the last opportunity to earn these costumes, as they will be replaced with new rewards in Season 2.

3. The Crest of Honor rewards will remain separate for each half of the season. This means that the Crests of Honor for the first half of the season can only be earned during that period, while the Crests of Honor for the second half of the season can only be obtained within its respective timeframe.

We hope these changes give you greater flexibility. Whether you are balancing Marvel Rivals with your daily life or aiming for the stars in Competitive mode, we want you to be able to achieve your rank goals, claim your rewards, and enjoy the game to the fullest. The only thing holding Rocket back is his ult. If he had a defensive ult he'd be busted god tier.
