He’s my go to Vanguard now. Once you get the hang of the animation cancel tech with his basic attack he becomes a real problem.

He won’t show up high on the stat board but if your team is even semi competent and will try to complete the objective while you keep the other team occupied Cap will play a big role in getting wins.

A competent Cap is one of the best possible teammates to have. They just occupy so much time and resources it makes the game easier.
You're right though, people look at the scoreboard instead of what's actually going on and don't realize how much damage he's doing.

Bonus points if the Cap is competent to use his ult to save the team instead of himself.

How do you use his ult to help?

How do you use his ult to help?

The American flag path heals + bonus health. So you can use it as a counter to some other ults the same way you'd use a support ult. His ult is basically just like Mantis with the bonus health and move speed, it just takes a second or two for the full effect to kick in. So essentially if the enemy team ults and Cap catches it in time and team follows him, they're damn near impossible to kill and they just counter you and roll you over with the bonus speed.

When you see Captain America + another heavy dive character, if they are good its going to be a tough match. There was a guy I played against who literally walked our team back to spawn because every time we'd finally almost kill him or the Magik in our backline, Cap would ult, heal both of them, and then their team would all push and we'd get mauled. One of the few times I legit almost raged at this game.

Cap, Hela, and some of the real high skill heroes are amazing when you see them in the right hands. Looks like they're playing a different game.

I’ve been playing for about 3 weeks now, with most of the hours on Punisher. He seemed the easiest to learn and when I would switch characters, I wouldn’t do very well. I used Squirrel Girl a bit, but last few days I have only used Hela and she is so good. I try to use tanks and healers, I just am not good with those. Even on Overwatch I struggled with those roles.

I’ve never in my life played a team based hero shooter where people consistently don’t know how to play their role as healer. There is nothing more infuriating then a C&D player in dagger mode running around with his noodle damage. Or a retarded warlock holding L2 all game

I play Adam :birdman:…..don’t look for me to heal you, I’ll find you when the time is right :russ:

I think a lot of people don’t understand how to use his kit.

I have 2 heals every 10 secs and only putting out about 200 per shot max. And one of those I have to keep in the tuck to protect myself.

The soul bond is where he gets his value and they don’t display “damage mitigated” but I can tell the game is recognizing it because I’m pulling MVPs with what look like low numbers.

He’s hard to play if you don’t have a burst healer on your team, or they aren’t atleast decent assault wise.

Is everybody solo queing?

Im D2 on ps5: PSN Logiwreck.

I’m getting pretty good with C&D. Easy to pick up and play but mastering positioning is the key. I want to learn Invisible Woman in case someone picks C&D on my team.

I still need to get good with a couple DPS characters. I think I’ve landed on Wolverine but I need another one. I used Psylocke early on but wasn’t making much progress.

Cap is my preferred Tank. Thing is great but you gotta have a team that will push with you otherwise you’re cooked.

Damn, I noticed I get pissed more at the game than before. I guess it’s knowing how things should go, then some games you continue to get obliterated the whole time because of staggering mechanics. That’s pretty annoying

:snoop: I’m not saying I’m no where near a great player but damn it would be nice if my teammates at least had common sense.

Playing Cap and got 4 characters from the other team focused on me in the back. You would think my team would push and try to reverse the convoy. Nope sitting back like bytches. :francis:

I can never seem to get two good games back to back. One game I get an easy win. Talking so easy the other team can’t even leave the spawn room. Next game I’m with some of the most trash players you’d ever see.

Will have to eat a quick ban next time I play. Quit the game when a Spider-Man showed up and killed me right when the game started and one of my teammates was a fukking Black Widow:dead:
bro welcome to the life of a dive tank :mjcry: I would isolate both enemy supports and have them healing each other and my team can't take advantage of that for shyt

yeah cap is my fav tank to play right now he's so fun. I only wish some of his cooldowns were shorter, especially the shield toss and the dive slam. cap being able to block while doing the superjump was a great change though lol

Yea game is getting stale now. You can tell how 90% of matches will go within the first minute. You can tell when the enemy team is about to spawn back in a spam ult. You can tell when someone switches between 4 dps within 2 minutes that it’s a 4v5
That's cuz ur a low rank

I've had some absolute sweaty intense matches in GM1 last few nights, every fight was basically a war of attrition until someone made a fatal mistake

:mjlol: Yep. Once you get an understanding of the game and play with some good teammates, getting stomped out feels horrible.

You know how things should go and it’s not even complicated.

Got me yelling at the screen “WHERE THE fukk YA’LL AT“?!?!?!:damn:

EDIT:
Case in point: Just had a game of domination. I was Cap and the other tank was Thor. We easily win the first round and keep the other team damn near at they spawn for most of it.

2nd round the Thor completely changes how he’s playing and doesn’t head out front or try to contest the point. It was on the Wakanda stage and he’s just sitting back using that ability shoot lightning :snoop:

At the same time I’m harassing a Jeff to the point all he’s doing is underground running away from me and not even healing his team.
We end up losing 1-2:francis:
