You gotta go back and read this forum then. We've been talking about how weak the villains have been since at least The Avengers when it was Loki getting steamrolled and a generic alien race. I've personally been discussing it on here for quite a while. I did like Winter Soldier though and Thanos looks like he'll be treated correctly.
yes i did & i think Loki belongs on that short list, maybe i missed a post or somethin... Abomination was just an afterthought but why not Loki... hes the best villain in comic movies right now.. non-goon....Did you not read the rest of my post?
i get its wrong to blame a winnin team, just feel Loki earned a spot...

My point was these movies don't need great villains to be good/great movies. So these dudes complaining about Marvel lacking great villains is
Loki's the best out of the Marvel villains. But I wouldn't put him in the same level as the two I listed. Doc Ock is pretty good too and so was McKellan's Magneto.
If they had done GL the right way, Mark Strong's Sinestro would have been great as a main villain.

yeah i get that... the storys about the hero, thats why im scared to see Sinister... i think they done ok... I'd agree with @Lakers Offseason that the movies are about the heroes but I'm also of the belief that your hero is only as strong as your villain when it comes to a narrative, if the story with the villain is truly the main story you're trying to tell. They're never going to make any of these big budget flicks rated R so you cats gotta let that dream go. The villains aren't going to be that sinister or wicked as they allow Magneto to be or as the Joker was because Disney likes to cater to all ages. Let it go it ain't happening

Yeah it would be dope but the only way to do it is when a studio decides to invest less I guess. It's not like the 90s where you could do a big budget rated R flick and know it'll recoup for you and then some. It'll be interesting to see if the new terminator is rated R

I love comic books and enjoy the movies but let's face it, these superhero movies are made for the majority viewers who don't want too much complicated villains and they can't make R rated villains either so we're stuck with cookie cutter half assed villains for most of the time 
Itwouldn't surprise me if Terminator 5 was pg-13. especially since the last one was.
