They should have made a Harley & Joker film first then done Birds of Prey, This movie was average at best.

If you didn't want batman in this then at least have Nightwing or Bat Girl (for the all female horseshyt) show up.

They had a Batgirl in this.

So, saw this earlier today.

It was meh as fukk. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good, either.

Easy to see why this semi flopped, though. It wasn't promotes all that well at all. I legit forgot it was coming out this weekend until yesterday.

They REALLY fukked up with the title. They tried to get a little too cute with he title by burying the lead character's name in a subtitle that most people aren't going to list off. Beyond that, the Birds of Prey name isn't marketable enough to carry a movie for the casual moviegoer. It's enough for the most dedicated comic readers (who aren't even enough to keep the series running for all that long when they periodically bring it back), but that's not a large enough group to carry an opening weekend.

All that said, the best part of the movie was the running joke of Rosie Perez being a stereotypical movie cop. :mjlol:

We saw Birds of Prey earlier and it wasn't bad at all. It's a very small scale, small stakes story. It's got some funny parts and good action, Black Mask is ridiculous :russ:

People who were asking why is Harley Quinn a part of Birds of Prey. Well she isn't.. their story interconnects with her but they are never an actual team. She isn't on the team.

People who were asking why is Batgirl a chunky Asian teenager. She's not. She has the name "Casandra Cain" but she ain't got the Batgirl moniker and likely won't.

Batgirl is most famously Barbara Gordon who is not in this movie.
