Hated this. It was not funny at all, they clearly attempted to bite the Deadpool formula with the back and forth flashback shyt to cover up a non-existent story but somehow did it worse and every action scene feels like it was not designed by a filmmaker but by a marketing team aiming for the TikTok generation... who can't even watch the film because of the R-rating.

Meanwhile every character is underdeveloped and it takes them until the final 30 minutes to bring everyone together and actually create something of an interesting dynamic since individually none of these characters do jack shyt. It feels like they spent more time trying to make every male character an a$$hole than they did trying to create interesting female characters. What a fukking shyt show.

If Poison Ivy was involved and Batwoman as a protagonist - it would have faired better at the box office. Harley can't carry a movie solo.

The first part didn’t work for me but once it got going I was onboard. A lot of great action, good character beats, and a plot that connected and added to the overall themes of the story. Really dope shyt minus that first half where I was trying to get my bearings and the movie seemed to take itself too slow

Just got out seeing it:

Overall: 6.5/10

Pros: visual was A1, no sauce .. Action scenes were beautiful especially the long shot tracking in the 3rd arc

Bruce the Hyena was a dope addition, wish they had more use for him in the actual scenes as part of her fight set. Overall it was a nice touch

Black Mask: my nikka was a GAHHDAMN highlight, nikkas drip was on tsunami all through the damn flick. His drip was Immaculate, need that nikkas tailor . Wish he had more scenes with the actual Black Mask doing Fucced up shyt

speaking of F’d up shyt, that warehouse scene with the Koreans made my stomach turn like damn they REALLY earned that R rating lol, heard a few groans in the audience lol

Huntress: ANOTHER HIGHLIGHT, baby girl was doing her damn thing murking nikkas, so much rage, so much piff . She killed it

Cons:

storyline: hella light, kinda weak . Wasted Black Mask too

Not enough Black Canary screams. The one time she used it worked and it was a big pay off but it was like damn imagine how dope and epic the film would’ve been if they used more of it .. not a huge complaint though

Cassandra Cain: this ain’t my Orphan. Shawty was dope, but could’ve called her a different character.

WRAP UP:

i loved it. They took a risk and it worked. I feel like having more Joker and Batman presence in the film would’ve helped it a lot more .
