I've never cared one iota about Harley Quinn. never found her remotely interesting.. until her recent R-rated cartoon show came out a few weeks ago. That's the best depiction of Harley ever, and i think would be a great cinematic conversion.

Mind you, the main difference of the show is that it's not "grounded" ... it's actually very comic booky... except extremely/hilariously dark and R-rated. The cast of character's aren't all women, but consist of Poison Ivy, Clayface, an 8 foot talking shark, a misogynistic midget telepath/telekinetic, and a talking man-eating plant voiced by JB SMoove. Plus cameos by a shyt ton of other DC villains.

So it's not a girl power trip but Harley and Ivy's friendship is at the heart of it and all the other characters are charismatic, stand-out'ish, and fukking hilarious. It's what i would envision a dceu "Deadpool" equivalent movie to be.
Spot on!

I liked it :yeshrug:

It played out about how I would've expected a Harly Quinn movie would play out. I really liked how vicious some of the fight choreography was. It reminded me of BvS. Also glad they connected to Suicide Squad.

I think they should have released this on Valentine's day
