yea i seen some tall ass people bringing it all the way down..
Ive yet to exceed 145 for 7 on flat and 135 for 8 on incline
Ok. I'm not out to lambaste you. Working out is good exercise. Because you have longer arms, it takes more work to complete a rep because you have more distance to cover. But, you're cheating yourself if you don't do a full range of motion rep. That's not just bench, that's any exercise. Someone who does partial squats, partial leg press, partial pull-up, partial bench, partial arm curl, etc. is never one of the guys who look beast mode. Never.

Nah I get where you're coming from, I just disagree with it being a partial rep on the bench. Its not like I bring it down halfway, I just stop the bar a few inches above. If my pecs are getting a full stretch why bring it down lower which just transfers the tension to my shoulders? Its not really doing any more for my chest is it? okay, when you bench and bring it to your chest your arms are probably at 90 degrees or slightly lower right? When I stop the bar a few inches above my chest my arms are bent nearly to full flexion, elbows way behind me. Im still getting a real deep stretch, on par what you're getting, if not deeper. I dunno I just dont feel progress would be any better by going lower.

Well, that's right. What's happening is that your deltoids are doing less work if you stop before letting the bar touch your chest. The barbell doesn't magically go from the chest to 3 inches above. The deltoids are doing the work.
If you are happy with your physique, then so be it. If you notice that your deltoids are not the same size in relation to your chest, then, it might be related to your bench press technique. You get what you put into it.

lets keep this going brehs. I hit my goal and broke even on my weight after last weekends nonsense lol. I`m on my way to an indian buffet with my girl, but I plan on offsetting today with going light tomorrow, and I did some cardio 45 min ago to add some cushion incase I over eat. Gonna do this buffet now, then if I get hungry tonight since its early I will just do a basic salad.

sundays my weekly weight in so Ill have my weight posted in the morning. Looking to get a new scale aswell since mine is atleast 8 years old. still works well but time for an update. @CashmereEsquire what brand is that?

My original weight was 311 but I dropped to 307 as right now I only have the gym and the hospital scale to go off of tho. Ill take pics every sunday starting tomorrow.
