It's been ten years since the assassination of the Dragon King, the land's most powerful ruler. Off in the corner of the kingdom where tailed dragonfolk dwell, Jio, a human girl, yearns for adventure and an escape from rural life. However, when she meets the mysterious, amnesiac young man...

Really solid first chapter. It delivered at really setting the tone of what seems like a fun and interesting adventure. The chapter did a fantastic job at making you realize that the man who adopted her, was protecting all of this when he was not letting her leave. Jio looks like a good heroine. The journey to find her real father could be an interesting one. Along with how she grows along the way. Also, Neraids himself is quite a mystery. At the very least that we know he is a dragon. This definitely has potential
An unexplored dungeon, filled with monsters and traps. An expert thief, searching for her lost father. When Clay delves into the dungeon deeper than any adventurer has ever gone, she is offered a job by the dungeon's caretaker! Now, instead of exploring, Clay must learn how to interview new...

Dungeon People has a unique concept of dungeon management. It's actually really interesting some of their explanations for things we see in a lot of series involving dungeons. It is more of a light, easy read. So I would list it as SoL Fantasy Comedy. Clay has her goals of finding her father who most likely was last seen at the final level in the dungeon. It is mostly episodic and world building through 3 volumes/22 chapters so far.
What a great conclusion to this flashback arc. Martha and Henry reunite, but sadly, Henry is now married. But I loved how they mention how great of a woman Henry's wife is. As she provided opportunities to Martha. Henry being faithful to her making Martha happy is sweet in an unexpected way.
Becky is still immature, but Martha provides the lesson that home wrecking is a big NO NO. Though it is sweet how both Henry and Martha visit Henry's wife's grave. I loved this arc.
The Elusive Samurai Chapter 165
Really interesting way to go about this chapter. They keep the credit of Moronao getting credit for this battle. (I think it's safe to assume Takauji beats Akiie here.) What becomes of Tokiyuki and his crew?
I do love how real history is the plot armor here.
Mission: Yozakura Family Chapter 235
Kind of expected Ryu to not completely turn on the family. Literally, Asa in in control of the kids and as long as he is around, he is immortal. So basically, this implies that either the kids die or remove the piece of Asa's heart. But would removing that also kill them?
Really excited to see Shinzo's full blooming in action next chapter!
Akane-banshi Chapter 119
There are 5 that are clearly above the rest. Akane learning from these 5 def will be crucial going forward. Also love the rivalry between Akane, Hikaru and Karashi. They have been together since the start and are still pushing each other.
Centuria Chapter 15
Seeing the villagers stand by Julian is great, but the men realize that most likely the lives count is about to go up as they are killed off. I assume since Angvall didn't kill Diana before the villagers acted, I assume they will view her as a traitor. I do hope at least Titi can survive alongside Julian and Diana.
Sakamoto Days Chapter 175
Unlike the other flashback arc which gave many answers along with great fights. This felt underwhelming. I feel like we got more questions than answers regarding Uzuki & Rion's relationship. Rion didn't want Kei to kill. Kei didn't want Rion to kill anymore. 1 or 2 chapters really could have solidified this issue. And really delivered how crushing Uzuki felt.
No surprise Asaki is a massive PoS for making his brother to kill his lover.
Hima-Ten Chapter 3
A love triangle is already being formed. Tbh I have my doubts about Kanai holding much of a chance. Ultimately, she will be used to push Himarin's feelings. But she is already fond of Iemori. Kanai is a very sweet girl, and she, unlike others, doesn't seem to push her work on to him.
Nice to see Himarin wants the 3 of them to hang out. This is a fun series, so far.
Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi Chapter 5
Unsurprisingly, Kiyoshi has trouble making friends. Well, lucky for him, Nehan seems easy to talk to. I am curious about how Nehan can see Jack Joe. Potential future exorcist?
Most likely that Jack Joe is the Demon Lord the group is looking for on the last page. I do expect Kiyoshi to defend him, so that encounter should be interesting.
Some nice world building in this chapter. Kind of cool how using color since citizens couldn't read, and now it's a mainstay.
The Laniakea Dragon is one of the 7 wonders of the world. This offers plenty of futures ideas to be explored. Since what are the other wonders? What are exactly dragon folk beyond them being super strong.
The fight between the citizens felt very real. Like the idea of do you change with the times or stick with what you are. Sometimes people can get too caught up with changing, and they lose sight of who they are. While people who aren't willing to adapt fall behind. So a balance of the two is where it is ideal.
The one who could bring that balance among the citizens is Polta who wants to become a scholar. In one way, he respects the wagoners in this town, but his desires are impossible without a railway. As usual, the adults get too stuck up in their ways to accept it.
Neraid showing the two men the city really highlights this. While the wagoners are the pride of the town, the key that his father said is to carry the town to a better future. He lost sight of what was essential and that was the town. I am pleased that Polta was to get everybody to come to an agreement with the help of Neraid and Jio. Awesome chapter.
Dandadan Chapter 162
I just love with how with all the madness happening he has to deal with a faceless man giving him orders. Though to save Momo, he will do whatever it takes. Nice to see Zuma conscious again. Glad he remembers the good of what his mother did not just the bad last bit.
Goze Hotaru Chapter 16
It's chapters like this where you really see how much Hotaru has grown. Calling out Otsuru impressed me. While it is true Miyo should want her father to be happy. The issue saying how Goze can't afford to miss their family is way out of line. It is basically like saying, since you are a Goze you can't afford to be happy. Everyone should have their own happiness however it might be. Miyo adores her father, it is cruel to mess with her feelings.
I liked how Oyuki handled it. She told Hotaru that speaking out suddenly like that isn't the way. But she understood why Hotaru spoke up and stood up for what she said and shifted Otsuru's anger from Hotaru to her. Essentially, children don't need to understand how cruel the world can be sometimes. Easy them to it bit by bit. Rather curious where this leads to next. Another note interesting for the Goze the importance of equality. I assume it helps to create a bond with the group. You will have younger and elderly Goze. Kind of an interesting note in this chapter.
The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses Chapter 161
Very sweet chapter on how Sachiko and Masahiro got married. Although the term that the Japanese use "There is Space at my families grave", is such a weird term to use for a marriage proposal.
Nikola is just a village girl working at the inn...until the day dragons invade, and she meets Haga, a scholar of everything around him. He's a part of an elite society called "Seeker," created to address a series of maladies plaguing their usually peaceful world. But both Nikola and Haga have...

2 vols in this one is a fun reader. You can tell the author is both a gamer and, most likely a debugger. The jokes are very on point. . The world is also more interesting than I thought it would be. Similiar concept of being trapped in a gaming world, but here it is from the PoV of a debugger. Stopping the corrupt debuggers. Def a unique series with a decent amount of charm to it. The ending of V2 does look bleak, though.
One thing I do find interesting looking at Akira is that, personality wise, her and Rion are so different. Kind of the point why Rion has mentioned for her to get away from the assassin world. IN some ways, her personality is similar to Kei. Ironically, they both go off with matters concerning Rion. Kei lost it when Rion died. In the JCC Infiltration Arc, anytime there was an obstacle that could get in the way of Akira finding answers to Rion, that is when Akira's mean streak came out. Much like Kei Akira is too nice, so this is where Taro's group comes into play since Akira won't give up.
Kindaka finally wakes up. Really hype to see, thought it was a bit predictable. He would be fitting to be someone to guide Taro and Nagumo. The issue being what kind of shape is he in. Honestly, his leadership just might be the big ticket. This series has always been who you do a battle manga the right way. Expecting a training arc of some kind. Let's see how Suzuki goes about it.
Great chapter. Ultimately, much like Tokiyuki, Akiie cares deeply for him subordinates, wanting them to live. Well, they are a much more stubborn bunch and given the situation, Akiie can't really convince them. I do love the idea of shooting a sword. Very clever and it gets Takauji off his mount.
Unfortunately, Akiie's end has been something that I had a bad feeling of occurring. Luck playing the role to save Takauji. Although both him and Nanbu won't be going down without a fight. At least this should allow Tokiyuki to escape.
Honestly, Shinzo's true spring blooming is the counter to destruction, which is regeneration. Shinzo as honestly the nicest character in the series alongside Taiyo. Destruction was something that never truly fit his personality. Meanwhile, regenerate, which is the reversal of destruction in many ways.
Shinzo's question of did you ask permission. Much like with Tsubomi, these kids for Asa are nothing, but tools. He is heartless as he has the mindset he can do as he pleases. Great chapter.
Akane-banshi Chapter 120
Shiguma is both a great master and a person. He wanted Akane to experience the world, which, of course, is necessary to grow in Rakugo. But also broaden your horizons and make connections with people. Which as an adult you need to do.
What makes Shiguma special is that with all of these hobbies that were shown in this chapter. For 30 years he made them choose Rakugo as the number 1. Experience everything, and he put his number 1 passion as the main event for people wanting to see every year.
The idea of the 4 of them surviving is very idealistic. But I just can't see Angvall surviving. I do like the focus on Angvall's biggest strength is her kindness. Kindness plenty of times can be a determinant in battle as she doesn't kill the soldiers. But the strength of kindness comes from protecting those that you hold dear.
I don't have much faith in her surviving against the commander with the beating she has received. Hopefully, she can hold out long enough so that Julian, Diana and Titi can get away and hide safely.
Blue Box Chapter 159
All that matters is if you like the person. The truest words that can be said. Who cares about what people, what you think truly matters first. A wholesome after party moment for Taki and Natsu as well.
Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi Chapter 6
The chapter went just about as I expected. Done well, kind of obvious with how they were going to go about it after the last chapter ended.
Hijiri is the Knights of Light. He has that typical if they are a demon they should die. Though going after the kid makes him an a$$hole. Hopefully, Kiyoshi can protect him. Wonder if Jack Joe will get his memories back?
Orochimaru was wasted. I guess in a way he got away with all his BS and was still standing in the end though so he won. He should have been a bigger antagonist.
A human alien hybrid. Which is what those experiments led up to. Now that John knows this, what is his next move? No doubt he was scared initially.
I love that Hotaru has evidence to back up her confidence. It is great to see. As expected, Oyuki isn't going because his preference can only undermine the results of this journey. I just love seeing Hotaru and Sango's friendship. Her answer is simply she is traveling because she likes Hotaru. It doesn't matter if Hotaru may be right or wrong this is an indication that Sango will always have her back.
I get Miyo feels semi guilty, but that must have been a heart attack to find her there. Man Hotaru is putting everything on her shoulders I hope the journey proves to be successful. Really nice art in the last few pages.
New manga made by the creators of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. It is a biweekly series, but the first two chapters did drop. Decent start.
Galaxias Chapter 3
Interesting chapter. We are introduced to a Kangaroo Dragon. To become a Dragon Knight it just relies on pure strength. Dragons which evidently take great pride in their strength.
For Susie, I am curious how her arm combined with her tail. Very interesting.
