Yoooo what shopping delivery app do yall recommend? I tried InstaCart yesterday for the first time and didn't see the value until now but it's and absolute gamer changer if you WFH :wow:

I remember in 2021 I’d play madden in the background of all my meetings.

I got so good I basically perfected playing Cover 3 defense and would beat All-Madden everytime. Took Zach Wilson’s bytchass to the super bowl

I still WFH but I’ve gotten more disciplined with it for my own well being. No more smoking during work day, no more video games.
Unfortunately i had to do the same. Lowkey feels like im working harder now than when i was in office.

My shyt be on mute till someone call my name :pachaha:
Never be on camera, never be off mute :hubie: . I'll maybe exchange pleasantries if it's 1 or 2 of us in the meeting, and only at the start, but I aim to have as close to zero interaction with some of thrse people as possible. Especially if they aren't SEs because I know they're only on the meeting to look busy.

I still love WFH life, but the mentality of not doing shyt all day started to fukk with my psyche
I feel this all the way. Feels like I'm stealing money lol. Actually had that exact convo with a friend yesterday. Got me feeling all guilty knowing there's no way in hell I should be making what I make to basically read emails and sit in meetings where 90% of them I'm not even talking.

The sad part is some of my coworkers who've been there longer are much worse than I am. It just blows my mind the level of incompetence I witness.

So of late I've been putting in more effort plus there is room to move up and kind of has me mad at myself for not applying myself during the two years I've been at the company. A promotion just opened up and if I had been trying at all it would be mine.

I have done all 3...WFH, Office, Mix in the last 3 years. I gotta say Mix was best for me. True enough when I was WFH full time the entire family was there so I didnt get the full experience. Doing the mix where I went in 3 days and WFH 2 days was great! Wednesday felt like Friday. And I could always transition to a WFH day if I or a kid was sick or I couldnt make it in for some reason.

I've been doing the WFH for 15 years now (minus a year and a half stint back in office) and there are definitely benefits to meeting with the team face to face. A lot more is accomplished because everyone is forced to pay attention. Can't be on your phone or reading articles off to the side when everybody is in the same room. Plus I feel like bonds are stronger when meeting in person. But no way could I ever go back to full time in the office.
