@bourgeoisie tall freak

:bryan:This literally just happened to me. He asked if I could jump on a call.

I was already :lupe: and then when I get on the call, he has his camera on.

I was :damn:

"H-h-hold on, I didn't know we were gonna be on camera."

Wound up having to position the camera so that nothing below my chin would show.

What part of camera always off are you not getting?

If it's any consolation I was working 15 hr days all last week even into the weekend. I didn't have any days off. I was behind on this project and I had to have it done by Monday. I pulled an all nighter one night

:martin:

But now all of that is behind me. :banderas:
Yup at my old job, the moment I knew I was leaving was after saving a huge account. It was the biggest account in our company's history worth a couple million a year. We get a call from one of the SVPs who told me and my coworker that our company has bungled every aspect of the installation and they need us to salvage things. Our software had a huge bug to where if multiple people were in the program at the safe time there was a bad memory leak. Long story short I put in over a 140 hours of extra work over the course of a month to keep things running while our dev team worked to fix the bug. We saved the account and the customer was happy. These were unpaid OT hours since we're salary. The entire bonus for saving things was being told I could go out to a nice dinner and the company would cover it. After that I was full blown fukk this job mode.

Also I learned from a coworker that u put a water bottle or sanitizer bottle or whatever dry bottle on ur mouse of ur laptop so if u on MS Teams or some program that can tell when u are away and how long u are away...the bottle on ur mouse will show that u are there so u can take a few minutes to do things and run a quick errand. But be careful cuz my group I work with will call u on Teams so u better be there when they call. But using the bottle can give u a few extra minutes to whip up lunch or get lunch or just run a quick errand.

Honestly it can get that way if ur not maximizing your time. If u are blessed to work from home you should have another hustle going on.

Too many guys in here are worried about how to play hookie or how to be lazy at work. Figure out something to do with the free time u have, working at home can make u feel complacent if ur job is too easy
