Truth is Jamie said nothing off base here.

Much easier to spec, design, test, create, and build in-person.

Tech companies figured this out and invested heavily in campus based environments (Google Bay View, Meta HQ, etc.).

There is no substitute for the skills gained by working with other world-class talent (slightly entitled geniuses) in an office.

Both can be true. It's much better to live within walking or biking distance to the office. It's often better to work in more open spaces and so on.

But overall, much more productive to work in a collaborative office or campus environment.
I would like to see some productivity studies before and during the pandemic first. Everything I've read said no noticeable change for remote work. He's not backing up his assertions with any data.

It’s got NOTHING to do with that bullshyt :mjlol:

The City simply NEEDS to make money. It needs consumers to spend money in the City because that’s how the economy works.

If I give you a piece of my land in my city so you can establish your company HQ you’re workers BETTER also be putting money into my City at the same time.

Not a study, but this thread is a great example.

Most are just lucky to be on poorly managed teams, otherwise.:skip:
