Been working from home since before the pandemic; it's been a game changer. No more office politics. I can sign on at 10:30 if I want; my manager doesn't really care as long as I produce. Only drawback is that since we're all remote, my manager will often come up with these crazy ideas to spice up staff meetings, like crazy Christmas sweaters during one holiday season.
Plus I’ve realized dealing with the boss is much easier with no office friction

I’m set to go back in May, but I’m not ready brehs :mjcry:, I’ve been looking for jobs that offer 100% remote. WFH has been the greatest, not having to fake interact with my colleagues, get to invite chicks to the crib during the day, run errands, and so much more :wow:

You can't sit down with a manager and talk to them about a shift to FT WFH?

If/when my job ever reaches out to me about coming back I'm going to just keep it a buck and tell them WFH FT is where I'd like to stay at this point.

I work in sales so I'm able to just say look at the numbers (which are high) and I been there a minute too so I'm holding all the cards, from how I see it.

I'm sure management knows me well enough to know that if they gave me shyt about coming back in I'd be pissed off or could end up leaving and they wouldn't want to lose their golden goose.

The thing is, my manager is based in Minneapolis, and I work in the Atlanta office, so it’s really no need for me to be there anyway :mindblown:, me and a couple of my colleagues have already discussed brining this up to my manager next month. So I will see what she says :yeshrug:

My job hasnt announced any guidelines on re-opening yet but they did say we’d have the option to WFH 2 days a week. Not enough for me. Im on linkedin/indeed everyday applying for 100% remote roles

CNN had a job expert on their show talking about how plenty of companies have not renewed their commercial building leases and are surprised how job production has shot up from their employees wfh. The 100% wfh jobs are out there breh.

Im sure you’ll find something. The extroverts want to go back to the office. The introverts are like fukk that shyt.

Do it, breh.

Especially if other colleagues will do it and back you up, strength in numbers.

Everybody just needs to make sure and focus on pointing out why you're all more productive as workers and how it benefits the overall job to WFH.

Management doesn't want to hear about how it's easier to take care of the kids or get zooted up during the workday.
