Been working from home for months now. While it's better because of time and money saved commuting ... I find I work MORE from home.

My job is on calls with clients all day, so it makes no difference. I will be pissed the day they call me back to the office as I will not be able to check my stocks as much. Oh, AND the fact that NONE OF US NEED TO BE IN THE OFFICE TO DO OUR DAMN JOB!!!!!
This is going to be the new trend imo. Real estate is expensive. Companies who lease would be saving hundreds of thousands by working remotely for the most part

I hope so, but I seriously doubt it. Especially for those businesses who signed multi-year leases on office space. And a lot of empoyers are just plain a$$holes.

fukk your commute
fukk your feelings
We need to MANAGE!

I wouldn’t say I hit the lottery but working from home has probably made me realize how much time I’ve wasted over the duration of my career.

kind of telling when we are just as productive than when we were there everyday. Now I get it updating and creating doctrine doesn’t take as much and generally I deal with mostly civilians but I’m creating the stuff for Soldiers and Marines.

but I also can’t complain since I’m retiring and yes I’m over waking up for some damn PT formation or going to the range.

Working from home is essential for parents having to deal with remote learning children in different ages/schools.

I am wondering when government going to lower the mandatory 40 hour week to 30 hours instead watch everything drop in price then and watch quality of life go up!

cant maintain 40 hrs + home schooling multiple kids at the same time. Somethings gotta give.

my work from home experience is hectic Having an elementary, middle school and high school kids needing help with homework in between meetings.... no work life balance at all.

the good news is that companies are gonna be real hesitant to do it

number 1, they all know that everyone wants to stay home and its gonna be unpopular to bring people back

number 2, the same work is mostly getting done :yeshrug: which is all they care about

but number 3, these fukkin companies are terrified of liability. the thought of forcing 50/60 year old workers to come back and then one of them dies from the virus is

so i dont see them forcing it any time soon. at least til next summer

You forgot number 4, cost.

I'm pretty sure they're looking at the cost of renting office space like :patrice:

It's a blessing man. We worked in the building until this happened, then sent us home. This was in March. We were supposed to revisit going back sometime next year. last week, they announced work from home is now permanent.

My whole life has changed. Not to mention I'm glad to be away from these bumpkins. I can't stand working with them niccas.

The only drawback is how much shyt people talk over Microsoft teams and emails.

But I work from home now so whatever lol

There needs to be an honest convo about beating off while having a live-in gf, because we all do it. My woman found out and got sad/upset one time. Since then I do it in secrecy

In before all the :dame: replies.

I’m married so it’s a little different but I just ask her two questions: you got a meeting? You trying to smash?

if the answers are no and no it’s my business at that point :yeshrug:

I’m enjoying saving all this bread.

No metrocards, no eating out for lunch, happy hours or those long corporate dinners.
