It's the greatest thing of all time.

My job starts at 7:00. I usually roll out of bed around 7:15, log on and masturbate till 8. Shower and groom from 8 - 8:30. Smoke weed, check stocks and emails and surf the coli from 8:30-10. Start working around 10. Take a break at 11. Lunch at 12. Do some more work from 1-2. By 2:00, anything I was going to get done that day better have gotten done because I'm unofficially off the clock by 2. I just play League of Legends and drink tequila and smoke weed till 4, then shut my laptop screen.

I love my job.
Amazing.

I've been on a vacation break since Dec 18th. I go back to work remotely on Wednesday. It will be a lazy half week :youngsabo:

So since the lockdown, most of our office people have been working from home and today one of them dropped in at work which we got us talking and I’m not gonna lie, shyt had me heated.

He starts work at 9am, but gets out of bed at around 8:30am, has a quick breakfast before working. Meanwhile since my commute is 1 and a half hours, I get up at 5:45am, shower, breakfast and leave the house in the dark rainy weather :stopitslime:

On top of all this, this shyt is like a pay rise for these folks cos I spend thousands a year on public transportation, food at work, clothes etc, whilst they pretty much save all their money on that shyt whilst earning the same money. This is some bullshyt :mjcry:

Not gonna lie, shyt has me looking at other career options where I can also wfh cos these nikkas really have it made.

Just a heads up for those who love capitalism!

In France, it is illegal to not pay workers who have to drive over 30 minutes to work. After that, it is considered work in and of itself and must be paid an hourly wage. This is why most french companies don't hire far from their location.

I put my alarm at 12 minutes after I'm supposed to start working which I determine myself. This morning it was 9:12 but I can't sleep so I'll probably login earlier

My brother was complaining to me that he hasn't been in the office since mid March. Talking bout he needs to get out the house and back in the office.

I was looking at breh like :gucci: Are you being serious...I basically been living the same life as you with no job, I would love that life.
He has a wife and kids though so it may be more to do with that then anything else :lolbron:

Without side hustles I would have been broke without a job by now.
Anyways my point is I got a job in November. 3/4 of that has been working from home, where I mostly just work on my side hustles during that time anyways :blessed:
I could genuinely do this for another year :ahh:The stacking is tremendous right now:ahh:

I'm "working" right now.

I log in at 5:00 am. I send an email to notify our supervisor that I have logged on (Agency policy).

Check and respond to emails.

I go back to bed for at least 2 hours. Wake back up and take a shower. I eat breakfast then watch TV.

Around 9 am I start doing work. I'll work for about 2 hours then eat lunch, watch more TV and log off at 2:30 pm.

I've been doing this since mid March.

I'm looking for another job though. The work is okay and it's easy but I don't really like the people I work with. I'm ready to move on. Plus, I've been denied a promotion when I knew I deserved it. That happened right around the time the pandemic happened. That's why I've been not really giving a fukking while working from home.

what's your position?

also is your trip to the office mandatory?

Controller, accounting.

I should go for the following reasons.

1. My staff is currently on a staggered one day a week in the office schedule now. Since I am not out on the regular floor with them due to having any office, there isn't anything stopping me from coming daily. I need to build relationships and rapport with them initially in person, then transition that to being done electronically.

2. My predecessor is still here for this week so I need to get all that I need from her before she leaves.

3. To be the position I want to eventually obtain, not the one I have. I want to be CFO one day and I have a great shot of succeeding the current one as the person who is the #2 in the finance department. If she is there every day or most of the time, I will possibly be as well. While this job has many internal and external customers, the next career path for me has an audience of one that will ultimately control it, that being my supervisor.

Why her? Because I've hit the ultimate lick. My undergraduate degree is accounting and my MBA is healthcare management. I'm now the controller for a financially sufficient health care company that is close to home. I don't want to go anywhere else so it's time to soak up game and grind to earn that potential spot.

So, to answer the question, it would not be mandatory but it is contingent on what my supervisor does because I will largely mimic it.
