When Clark discovers the ship there's a pod there with a skeleton in it but there's another one there as well in the background that had alreadly been opened.
read the comic prequel. That's supposed to been SUPERGIRL in that opened pod.
And thats a bad bytch. Hopefully they do a doomsday flick for the next one. Superman gets his shyt handed to him. Comes back to life and has to team up with supergirl to defeat Doomsday. Considering the fact Supergirl is a Worldkiller like Doomsday, they could make it work.
Doomsday is stupid as shyt. He is tier FOUR to me.
that's fair imo. i mean, u dig the changes or u dont. but ive never understood why people bash movies for taking liberties not found in the comics.
comic writers often get years to build their interpretation of the mythology. how long did it take grant morrison to pen what's considered the greatest superman story ever (coincidentally, this interpretation of zod seems to borrow from morrison's kryptonian story... clark comes back to earth and they've already started rebuilding krypton, with the intention of bulldozing the earthmen)?
film writers/directors are lucky to get 6-8 hours.
the story of doomsday has always been more interesting than almost any execution they've come up with.

Anybody think there were similarities between this and transformers? I mean both films had leaders of a dying planet that were military and science leaders, one trying to hide an object that can rebuild their home world whilst the other wants to find it and rebuild their planet but at the expense of earth. Both heroes red and blue? the allspark was basically that skull thingy?

Bizarro needs to be involved somehow. Secondary villain only, but he needs to be in this.
I know nikkas will say "but he's just another Kryptonian like Zod", and that's partly true, but the appeal with Bizarro is that he's Superman if he were completely retarded.
If they played that for drama instead of pure action or comedy it'd come out masterful
Imagine a scene where Bizarro's trying to chill in a park, then some curious children start asking him innocent questions and prodding him, like "why is your skin gray?" "why do you sound like that?" and he goes berserk

I got the perfect superman sequel. Luthos is rebuilding metropolis, makin cake and trying to become a hero by shaming superman for property damage and bringing his problems to earth. Doomsday comes to earth, supporting his claims and bodies superman and gets bodied himself. Lex Luthor gets a piece of supermans dna, clones him, and also releases a robot version of superman in an effort to win over the people. Doomsday comes back to life and the clone and robot with the help of Supergirl, who really does most of the work are able to drive off Doomsday. Luthor is lauded as a hero and uses this new fame to strengthen his run for president. He reveals some kind of insidious plan thats going to take place once he becomes presdient. Superman comes back to life as Domsday is back for another round fukking shyt up. The clone and robot are unable to fukk with Dooms this time around and back down leaving him to fukk shyt up. Superman comes back to life, kills the clone/robot, battles supergirl to a stale mate in epic battles. They join forces to fight doomsday. In the background Lois is diggin dirt on Lex and in the end Lex is shamed, loses his bid for presidency and Doomsday is killed by Superman and supergirl in another epic battle. In the final battle a pissed of lex gets in a robot suit and tries to get at superman, loses and goes to jail but Luthor hints how he owns so much of the city, he'll walk. Superman realizes his most powerful foe, isnt an alien.
Go on and take that hollywood, i aint mad at cha. 
Darkseid shouldn't be in a superman movie if they want to do a justice league movie
