batman begins was the only film in the Nolan batman series where batman's fighting looked credible when he was doing the ninja training...but for some reason that's where Nolan dropped the ball in the other 2 flicks. if you're going to portray an action comic book character you got to put as much as effort into the fighting as you do the story. They used that bullshyt Keysi fighting method for those films which made the fighting look woefully average

Man of Steel however remains a great comic book movie in my eyes

With the help of Nolan, Goyer is an ideas guy, that needs someonelse to funnel his vision but as a sole writer he is horrible

and lets not pretend THIS wasn't with the help of NOLAN... as the credits clearly states.

your points are diminishing.... :yeshrug:

Calling the fight sequences in the Nolan movies average is being too kind, those were the worst fighting sequences I've seen for a movie of that scale and hype, any superhero movie for that.

Don't let this man near another Batman movie.

You've got to remember he's still a young superman. This was his first fight. He'll learn with time.

yeah, that's why i said i liked it better. it's his first fight.. he's got enough to do trying to save the planet from people he suddenly finds his equal. i felt like he didn't save the civilians simply because he couldn't.

I agree somewhat, I am not a fan of the fighting in Nolan's Batman films, while I do like what he did with Batman, its time to see another directors vision.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
I find it funny that some people are surprised by the Christ themes. Hell, this is from the first movie:

"Live as one of them, Kal-El, to discover where your strength and your power are needed. Always hold in your heart the pride of your special heritage. They can be a great people, Kal-El, they wish to be. They only lack the light to show the way. For this reason above all, their capacity for good, I have sent them you... my only son."

But Zod wasn't evil. He was heartless and cold but he was only that way toward humans. And why would he not be? Do you pity the ant you swat away when they're disturbing your picnic? :ld:

Zod as he said was created to secure and defend his people. The ends justified the means to him, 100% of the time, with no exception. Superman was just in the way. He was indifferent to humanity but who were we to him? If earth was destroyed, and me and my team was the only humans left, except this one human who was on a planet past Pluto that was perfect to foster humanity, with the exception that its populated by Rabbits, and I had a machine to kill all the rabbits and make it just like earth.....well...its hunting season. :demonic:

Zod could have done the "AND I KILLED YOUR FATHER :lolbron: :umad:" thing but why would he? It actually would have been out of charactor...

for all intents and purposes he rolled up on the kryptonian cabinet, murked or imprisoned them all. broke out of jail then rolled to another country...or planet, and had no second thoughts about genocide...

and lets not act like he didnt tell fat russ he was gonna find his son and off him too. is he really above trollin clark dogg, murdering his father and waving it in his face?

just because he had a few layers and wasnt john fukkin lithgow evil in ricochet doesnt mean he wasnt EVIL.

He wasnt evil...and if you think so..you didnt get the movie.

They explained that every Kryptonian is born and bred to do a specific task.

His was to protect the Kryptonian race....LITERALLY.

That was the point they were making in the beginning about how "what if a child aspired to be something else...not what society says so"
