So being a scientist means you cannot have hands neither?

not against a trained killer. Be serious man. The already established people where genetically engineered for a purpose, so if Jor El was the foremost scientist and Zod the foremost warrior, he shouldn't stand a chance against him. Could fukking Plato fukk with Achilles in a fight?

the whole Kyrpton scene could've been the reboot of Masters of the Universe with Jor El being He-Man's father and Zod being skeletor before getting fukked up.

The whole point for them coming to Earth was for the codex, so there's no reason why Superman couldn't lure them to a more remote location to do battle, simply because they were after him and needed him to accomplish their goals.

Tell em why you mad :skip:

The fukk movie was you watching tho, the city wasn't all the way destroyed. They didn't all know or understand the super powers cause they didn't want to risk getting hit with direct sunlight or breathing earth air. Super man could fly at the speed of sound, shyt makes a sonic boom. Movie was great, stop being a hating ass fakkit bruh

:laff: @ expecting anything better from after earth

this nikka got trails like he an airplane, I'm not talking about sonic boom,
the sound he makes when he takes off is A JET PLANE SOUND

The city wasn't all the way destroyed, but there's enough damage to kill hundreds of thousands of people, and Superman was unphased by this.

Stop making excuses for this shytty ass movie, can't believe people bigging this shyt up with a non-sensical plot, terrible acting, and horrible pacing.

what happend to the nikka who threw the train at superman?

Man ain't nobody tryna watch no movie about the consequences of aliens destroying they city. Possibly thousands dead, but earth was literally getting raped, we can deal with that life loss. Superman saved the planet fukk them metropolians.

And i'm happy they decided to tell the origin in hindsight, did good for the plot. I'm happy they didn't do the speed grow story where it starts as him being a dumb ass little kid and turning into god, they spotted the memories in a dope way, especially showing how his pops go out like a g teaching young rebel clark that its bigger than a super power.

And the acting was good as it needed to be. Im not even trying to defend it, but super man is a boring character, there's nothing really interesting about his personality, but snyder did a good job showing his constant moral conflicts. Much better than OG superman movie where this nikka at the bar getting punched out by drunks

I'm seeing it again this weekend, so i'll see about that jet sound, but i dont remember that at all. I'll help them make up the money you holding out on

crowe hi-jacks another one.

less of him, more costner. and he died pretty bogus. shoulda had zod kill him to really drive home how evil he was. "i killed both your daddy 'el. you mad?"

But Zod wasn't evil. He was heartless and cold but he was only that way toward humans. And why would he not be? Do you pity the ant you swat away when they're disturbing your picnic? :ld:

Zod as he said was created to secure and defend his people. The ends justified the means to him, 100% of the time, with no exception. Superman was just in the way. He was indifferent to humanity but who were we to him? If earth was destroyed, and me and my team was the only humans left, except this one human who was on a planet past Pluto that was perfect to foster humanity, with the exception that its populated by Rabbits, and I had a machine to kill all the rabbits and make it just like earth.....well...its hunting season. :demonic:

Zod could have done the "AND I KILLED YOUR FATHER :lolbron: :umad:" thing but why would he? It actually would have been out of charactor...

Just saw the movie. Felt like a 7/10 and marks the first time I've ever been disappointed in Michael Shannon's role. Dude played his part well as Zod but his subordinate Faora came off more interesting.

Evil doesn't always think of itself as being evil. Hitler thought he was being righteous too. It's kinda like a vicious circle of delusion that leads to evil:clap:

i initially felt this way as well about jor-el beating zod, but when you think about it, in spite of jor-el being bred into being a scientist, it IS implied that he's willing to break the rule...the big one is having natural born birth. he also was well aware and been prepared of any outcome that will happen to his planet, AND he was a close friend to ZOD... so being someone who was BORN inquisitive, had to had some kind of training...

also, based on the PREQUEL comic book, and him mentioning themselves as EXPLORERS, they HAVE to be combative ready for anything that comes at them during any exploring exhibition. so it IS possible for him to match up with zod. maybe a slight stretch in beating him, but him beating the gaurds 1st AND zod, with high intensity of ensuring the safety of his ONLY SON... i can ride with that.

Thatd be my guess... didn't they all retreat to the ship after that to regroup?

yes, they retreated back to the ship to regroup... at that moment faora got fuccked up by that missile while having her helmet already broken and if i'm not mistaken nom was the one that carried her back on the ship. either way they all returned to the ship to regroup and map out their plan.

from the director of 300 & watchmen and the dude who INTRODUCED us to modern comic book film BLADE... riiiiight. :usure:

Man, it just dawned on me how revolutionary BLADE was..it really was the first modern day comic book movie...it took itself serious and wasn't scared to be dark as it needed to be.

Good reply
