Zod and Faora were the ones smashing Superman through buildings. Not much you can do when your first ever real fights are against trained Krypton army soldiers and generals
Tell em why you mad
The fukk movie was you watching tho, the city wasn't all the way destroyed.
action scenes wouldn't be as dope. So no.
The plot didn't make any sense. So Zod wanted to turn Earth to Krypton with a machine for what?
He didn't enjoy having god like power and being virtually immortal
He could have led Zod and them anywhere for their fight but he flew around the corner from the Daily Planet to the friggin' heart of the city.
superman definitely wasn't paying attention to civilians.
he's the reason the first fight moves from the kent farm to main street smallville. zod threatens his mother, superman comes flying in and then ends up flying through a building and a gas station, making things blow up and starting a big fire.
later on, i think it's when he saves the colonel from faora.. he tackles her and they land in the ihop a bit away. there are people still in the restaurant and he starts fighting her inside, just feet away from people.
and even when they're falling down from the satellite, superman is on top attacking zod. he definitely could have pulled up or at least directed the fall somewhere else. but they crash through that last building.
there's no way that superman was going to save every civilian.. thousands of people died. but civilian safety definitely wasn't too big on his mind. personally, i like it better. it was superman's first fight and the entire world was at stake. he can't be trying to save every life while doing that.
