This place is weird as HELL.
Not really. These dudes grew up on this shyt to the extent that it's sacred cow status and they feel compelled to make these defenses reflexively.

The problem is this fourth grader logic of "hypocrisy" as if people don't learn things & grow up. And of course the whataboutism strawmen

rapper don't realize they are holding themselves back commercially using that language. because of a lot of people feel this way.
Its like how movie studios like to make movies rated pg 13 in order to reach the widest audience.
they just need to invest money into the clean version of all their hits so they can reach people like this too.
Cause nobody wants to hear a bunch of edits or bleeps either.

True. Back that thang up >>>> Back that ass up. Clean version was better, lol.

I felt like the dirty version was made after the fact because it was expected.

there are three possibilities.

1) He's cac pretending to be black.
2) He's a corny black person who's never had any black friends.
3) he lying about his age and is only like 8 years old posting on here.

Grown ass nikkas getting their moral cues from a fukking opportunistic fraud :mjlol: :mjlol: :mjlol: these are the kinds of instances where you can tell who was raised by double talking ass parents and who was not.... A lot of.these nikkas have embraced this kind of shallow moral grandstanding as it's the environment they were brought up around

And this NWA album was one of the hottest and most popular Hip Hop albums of 1991. The B word and the N word were gratuitously used all over this album. There was absolutly no way Malcolm didnt acknowledge this album.

Wack lyrics all over that album. Great production but no one took them seriously anymore.

I literally gave you a financial reason for why they should reduce the cursing in their music. Not even about morality.
They just throwing money in the trash when a clean version of the song would be embraced just as much or more.
Life cycle of a song is generally, charting for a few weeks. On the radio for few months, then gone. But the songs that last longer, usually get used in commercials and movie soundtracks long after they've disappeared from radio airwaves. And generally a super explicit song doesn't end up being used in a mcdonalds commercials, or the soundtrack for guardians of the galaxy. Just makes sense from business perspective, fukk the moral cue take. Sir Mix alot baby got back will be remembered far longer then most rappers with more hits than him, because it was a catchy record without a bunch of cursing. Same with Coolio Gangsters paradise. You make a hit record that isn't super explicit it gets remembered for far longer
