The responses in here :dead: Talking about hypocrites.. Man you got people in this same genre that will say we need to stop the violence and put the guns down, then they’ll make more music using excessive violence and guns… even after literally losing their homeboys/girls to gun violence. Writing dissertations about who Malcolm Jamal Warner worked with years ago is not going to change the fact that rappers use bytch/ n word as a crutch… He’s not even saying don’t use them, he’s just saying the words are being used a lot. The other dude talking about “MLK used it” I mean Redd Foxx used the n word on network tv and the scenes are considered classics.. that was also like 50 years ago too. MJW loves hiphop, he’s also an older cat now so what he’s saying makes sense. I mean people will say that white people buy the most hiphop and are the ones that pack out the shows, then will turn around and get mad when they say the n word. I’ve always said it’s shyt like that that gives white rappers like Post Malone and Jack Harlow chances to blow up… that have to rap without using the n word. I have no idea how much they use bytch, but everybody can say bytch.

Exactly....straight up hypocrite.
As soon as you hear one of these clowns start going Moral police you know immediately that they got skeletons

MJW is a fukking clown and a fraud....he should keep his charlatan mouth shut... He doesn't care about the language in hiphop just like he didn't care about the debauchery he was getting paid off of while doing his own work... shyt is straight fake preacher man babble..he always got some shyt to say about integrity AFTER the fact and after the check clears

rapper don't realize they are holding themselves back commercially using that language. because of a lot of people feel this way.
Its like how movie studios like to make movies rated pg 13 in order to reach the widest audience.
they just need to invest money into the clean version of all their hits so they can reach people like this too.
Cause nobody wants to hear a bunch of edits or bleeps either.

Bruh. They need to try and make the songs clean(ish). When you go back and listen to old songs often people like the clean one more because you can actually play it in person.

I remember my dad was feeling the Big Tymers joints on the I Got That Work album. He hated the album versions of the songs because of all the explicit language.

The supposed best lyricists in the world, and they can't reduce the use of 4-5 words. It's baffling.

Dude..Just stop. Hip Hop has been that way since the 90's. A greater portion of the hip hip albums in the 90's had a Parental Advisory sticker. And why do u think that is?

nikkaz with Attitudes was 87-88
Bytches Wit Problems was 1991
Roxanne Shante named her album "The B1tch Is Back" in 1992
"Bytches Aint shyt but hoes and tricks" was a very popular song in 1992/1993
Apache wanted a Gangster B1tch in 1993
2pac named his album Strictly For My Nikkaz" in 1993
Lil Kim had a hot song called Queen B1tch in 1996
Jay Z had a whole hit song called Aint No Nikka in 1996
Jay Z had a whole hit song called "Nikkas What, Nikka Who?" in 1998
Trina was the Baddest B1tch in 2000

Bottom line....Rappers have been over using the word "bytch" and "nikka" for over 3 decades. That's where the culture has been and it's been that way longer then it hasn't. The 80's was 1 decade compared to over 3 decades. The B word and the N word are part of the genre and that's just the way it is. Malcolm sounds out of touch with the genre. There is no defending Malcolms stance unless you are being unrealistic.
